I'm being delusional right now because of the cliffhanger BUT HEAR ME OUT! They said those scenes MC and ML saw were what they needed to "prevent", however, they clearly haven't seen the full thing of what happens in their alternate universe, so what if one of them ends up dying later and that's what needs to be prevented?

OR! THIS WHOLE THING NEEDS TO BE PREVENTED SO THAT THEY GET TOGETHER ANYWAY? WHAT IF IT'S FOR A SPECIFIC LINE UP OF EVENTS TO HAPPEN????

Or perhaps, it's supposed to be prevented BECAUSE it leads to an unfortunate event! Think about it, ML seems to become more possessive and overprotective, which may have actually made MC decide to distance himself and things escalated, WHICH IS WHY IT NEEDS TO BE PREVENTED! IT'S A SIGN MADE TO ML FOR HIM TO CHILL! MAYBE IT'S A META THING LIKE ORV!!!!

Overall, I liked this even though it had stuff I usually wouldn't like and its own flaws. (Long review incoming ( ̄∇ ̄") )

Things I appreciated/liked in this story:

- The main character's unique personality. I don't believe there is another character quite like him. At first, I thought he was just going to be yet another dense MC used for comedic relief and to show off how "smart" his love interest is, but he wasn't. He had actual emotional depth and he wasn't as dumb as we are made to believe.

- MC stayed true to his beliefs. If he didn't want to do more than simple guiding, he did not — even under manipulation/pressure. When he believed ML truly needed his guiding and wanted to guide him, he persisted through ML's discouragement and succeeded in doing what he thought was best for ML.

- The story successfully convinced me that the whole run away arc was needed for two main reasons —the ML's horrible communication skills that led to MC feeling upset and the further development of MC. Both of these reasons contribute a lot to the story, so I personally thought it was good thing it was fleshed out using this arc. Next, since I already felt that this arc was necessary, naturally, I didn't feel repulsed by them getting back together again. In fact, I think MC does the running away troupe well. (At least compared to the female leads of Otome Isekai)

Stuff I didn't like in this story:

- The lack of development for MC's relationships with ML's guild members. There was minimal interactions, and none of the members had their characters or backstory fleshed out. Their relationships with one another were extremely surface level.

- That one guild member lashing out at MC. It was understandable but there were no consequences at all (or perhaps there was, but it was shown off screen), which was mildly disheartening. Speaking of consequences, there were none for the guy who kept trying to make MC leave ML, worse still, they're acting as if they are friends. Perhaps MC is just dense, but it's disappointing.

- ML's improvement should have been shown more to readers through more chapters. It wasn't enough considering the amount of change the ML would have to go through for MC since he was originally a red flag ML.

DID YOU KNOW THERE ARE ACTUAL SONGS FOR THIS STORY ON YOUTUBE???? AHHHHHHHHH ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

I haven't started reading this yet so I just wanna know, when does the angst arc start? I'm planning on avoiding those chapters until that arc ends ( ̄∇ ̄")

Never actually read the novel and I only know this because of a specific fanfic on Quotev but I'm so excited ヾ(☆▽☆)

I'm gonna combust once the first chapter drops.

The ending was kind of rushed but the fact that I've actually enjoyed a story like this shows that it was pretty well written. It's not exactly the most intellectual story to read, but it did what it did best —and I like that, because sometimes authors get so wrapped up in trying make something a hit that they forget the original direction of a story.

This was really refreshing of a story, especially for the romance fantasy/romance genre because of how our MC found out reasonably quickly about her feelings and decided to immediately try to tell ML instead of stalling (I'm glad they made her character stay true to herself) and the way the ML's denial stage was surprisingly well done. On the surface, it's just like any other romantasy ML's denial stage, but since it was so fitting of ML's personality, it was so natural and actually fits into the storyline well.

While I'm curious about how the royal family stuff was actually wrapped up, I really enjoyed this, so if you want a chill, funny and non-problematic story to read, read this, it was a 10/10.

While waiting for new chapters, I wanna know if there are any similar stories to this. I like this kind of premise a lot but the MC tends to be a pushover or someone mellow which makes me hold off reading, so I want a MC similar to this MC

This MC is actually everything I've ever wanted in a main character
10/10 story btw (⌒▽⌒)

I don't think this is a minor issue when it's affecting your grades AND your social life I have went through something similar to what you are going through right now for a different fandom but it was much milder, and personally, I think it's a good thing to release that pent up love and affection for ORV. You could write essays about each char......

(This is really long) First off, I agree that it's annoying when older users flex that they're better and more "cultured" just because they were here first. It's annoying for almost anyone. However, the reason why people say you're a "normie" for not getting off graphic rape and child porn is because most people are not turned on by things like t......

On one hand, yes, OG!Yise is being an absolute ass. On the other hand, dude isn't exactly in the best condition, and CLEARLY, unlike the story "The One Within The Villainess", doesn't get to see the protagonist work really hard for OG!Yise to succeed, and therefore regards him as a bad guy. So either he is acting just like usual... OR! He is being an ass OUT OF SPITE

Also! MC DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG. Did he ask for this? No. Did he try his best to improve his life and achieve OG!Yise's dreams? YES! SO WHY IS IT THAT PEOPLE ARE PICKING SIDES?!

I hate that this situation is happening and will probably skip this arc BUT I don't hate OG!Yise, and logically wise, there is no reason to! Because that is his character! Sure, some people change when they get what they want, but others DON'T!

Yeah no um pls tell me this guy leaves soon because if not, I'm gonna just be glancing through the chapters after 26 ╥﹏╥
No idea how but this guy grosses me out more than MC's previous manager which is a MIRACLE (and not in a good way) (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

I love this though, and I'm trying to not read the novel because I know I'm gonna be sleeping at 1am if I even TOUCH the novel ( ̄へ ̄)

I just wanna say: Before you come to a conclusion, read the novel or wait until the manhwa finishes. (︶︿︶)

As someone who read the novel up until chapter 127, I'm honestly pretty torn between the scammer guy and the OG!ML. Yes, scammer guy is awful BUT there is character development, and y'all are gonna have to wait for quite some time until said character development happens. As for the OG!ML, my love for this character probably peaked at ONE specific chapter where I was just swooning all the way IN PUBLIC. (≧∀≦)
All I can say is that they are both massive yearners, except scammer guy realizes later than OG!ML

I loved everything about this story! From the interesting premise to the 3 dimensional characters and how every character is so compelling.
Now, I also love how everything was done so well even though it ended at chapter 60! I just wish they'd give us a wedding scene :(
Farewell, and remember, this story ended at chapter 60.

TimeLoopEnjoyer created a topic of A First of Summers

I came here because I heard it's a green flag romance + saw a smut scene, so it actually surprised me that it's an age gap romance
However, what surprised me more is how well this story handled it
Usually, I don't read age gap romance, but this one knocked it out of the park and made me believe that while it can be rare, stories with sex scenes inside CAN include mature/deeper topics AND do it WELL
Everything was done really well and I love this story! So if any readers are feeling hesitant about the age gap, I recommend you try out the first season at the very least to test the waters

As for the people who read it and are feeling iffy about the age gap, it's okay to not like something, and when you don't, stop consuming that piece of content instead of policing what others can or can not enjoy. Don't protect fictional characters and attack real people.

To start with, I have never been love bombed before, but I think I have experienced what love bombing is through this story.

No, I'm not joking.

To anyone who haven't read this and wants to read this, think about these three things before you read this series:

Are you fine with flawed characters experiencing seemingly no consequences even at chapter 21?

Can you stomach being on a rollercoaster where the destination is a void of absolutely nothing?

Do you mind a toxic relationship where the narrative doesn't seem to do anything about so far?

If your answers are yes, yes, no, feel free to read it, I hope you have fun!
