okay but like I really like that it's not a 'wow I think I'm gay now' and instead their actually exploring the whole concept of a straight guy who'll soon fall in love with another male that they start realizing they might actually be gay agshjdkkd
and look at me now, finished everything in one sitting. I think what put me off initially was just how toxic it was ( note that I was new with this sorta stories, I was used to fluffy highschool romances and had barely any clue of omegaverses ) and now that I've learned and grew to like omegaverses, coming back to this now I immediately get what people meant calling this a masterpiece. this story was a good balance of smut and plot, and rarely do I come across such works, this is definitely up there with some of my favorite bls. admittedly it may not be everyone's cup of tea ( it wasn't mine for a long time ) but the fact I kept trying to read it despite getting put off thrice, meant there was something good in this and today I've proven that.

this story became my personal favorite despite being an ongoing one, and I don't like to voice out my opinions on stories that haven't completed yet. But truthfully this might be the most beautiful story that has ever been created.
I think tend to gravitate the most towards stories that give me unexplainable feelings ( hence how lovesick dog was my favorite for quite a long time ) and this just gives me that every chapter. It's simple in the hindsight of things, but the underlying complexities of it is what takes it up a notch. It almost feels like I'm seeing real people in these characters... idk ig I just really like this story so much
and might probably be worse ( and I mean hurt your heart worse ) go read His Present by Youlan , it's a short novel readable in one sitting,, just prepare yourself though
