This was surprisingly wholesome and, wait, it actually contains a plot?! Came for the smut but stayed for the most relatable female main character who has nothing in her head besides s3x and drools every five minutes at the sight of her husband-to-be. Honestly, can’t even blame her. I would too! So refreshing to see how open she is, and I love that these kinds of green-flag FMCs are finally being represented in webtoons. We need more FLs who are this true to themselves.
Always entertaining to read how everyone else thinks our girl is this sweet, innocent, naive young woman, when in reality, she’s just horny 24/7 for her fiancé. To be fair, she’s a bit of an airhead, but not to the point of being annoying. It actually makes her adorable.
As for the male lead, wow. I came to this with my expectations incredibly low, given the usual tropes of smut stories. I was fully expecting him to be toxic, non-consensual, or a walking red flag. Instead, he surprisingly has morals and is somehow a gentleman? He always tries to portray himself as a vicious tyrant who only craves her body, but he's more than that. You can see through his actions that he genuinely cares about her. He even let her graduate before starting a relationship with her. Plus, when they’re actually doing it, he cares about her pleasure too.
So, here I am, dy!ng waiting for more chapters. I can’t believe I stumbled across this gem. The plot itself is pretty predictable, featuring the usual modern manhwa family drama and internal power struggles, but I'm rly looking forward to more smut. (And yes, the smut scenes are delicious to devour, thanks to the nice art, mouth-watering body proportions, uncensored goodness, multi-chapter-spanning s3x scenes, dirty dirty talk, and a variety of positions) Most of all, I can't wait for more interactions between the main leads because for me, they broke the stereotypes for their tropes. 'Tis going to be one hell of an enjoyable ride~
Hands down the best subtle, mature romance ever. Honestly, the romance acts more like a subplot because the story focuses heavily on the challenges faced by the residents of Lucky Mansion and how they navigate them. It deserves a psychological tag with how deeply it delves into the characters' thoughts and perspectives on life and beautifully showing the ruin, restoration, and blossoming of their relationships.
But don’t get me wrong, it’s not all serious. It's such a quirky, fun read. The main characters have incredibly diverse personalities, and they never run out of shenanigans. Whenever they're together, chaos absolutely ensues.
As for the romance, we only get a little sprinkling of it in S1, but S2 and 3 deliver full-on, diabetes-inducing sweetness. The pacing is just right, featuring one of the cutest, most chaotic, yet most mature couples you'll ever encounter. You’ll know exactly what I mean once you read it.
If I had to point out one minor gripe, it’s the ending. It doesn’t exactly feel rushed, but the story definitely could've expanded more on the backstory and development of the remaining two characters who never quite opened up to the readers. Still, even without that, it’s an absolute 10/10. Highly recommended!
The FMC may appear simple-minded, but she always finds creative solutions to her problems. She's def no damsel in distress and needs zero rescuing. The perfect blend of a badass and a an airhead, without ever becoming annoying.
While there's little romance, it’s served in cute, entertaining doses. The lack of it never makes the story feel boring or dragging. It's still a fun and enjoyable read. What's unique is that despite name-dropping plenty of Ro-Fan cliches, it doesn't follow a single one. You can never predict the author's next move.
That unpredictability stems from good writing. Everything in this webtoon is well-thought-out, culminating in a deeply satisfying plot twist toward the end. The absolute embodiment of "everything happens for a reason." Just when you think it’s all fun and chaotic filler, the puzzle pieces snap together, and the plotlines suddenly make perfect sense. 10/10 would recommend.
P.S. As for the endgame ML... I kept switching lanes the entire time! Though I’m rly happy with how it turned out, still I can't help but be heartbroken for the 2ML. I was rooting for him too!
When Lio's dad started flirting with Baria, I was swooning. And then cringing. Lmao I felt like I was in Lio's shoes seeing my dad flirting with a stranger. Just felt weird overall. Even if I ship them.
I mean I've only seen Ferio as Duke Voreoti and as Lio's dad that him acting like a male lead in a romance work had thrown me off. And had me giggling. I honestly couldn't pick a struggle. More Ferio x Baria scenes, please.

Can a kind soul please share a synopsis that actually makes sense?
Guy in college has an unrequited crush on brother’s bestie. Brother’s bestie strings him along for 10 years. Guy meets another guy in college, they’re both rich. They start living together years later. Sikeee, turns out brother’s bestie is a psycho. Save yourself the headache, the story has no substance but it’s a quick read if you’re bored.
