i can't remember the last time a character disgusted me as much as this mf... this is such a well-written story though, so it's a shame i can't root for the MC (though im pretty sure that's the author's intention)
anyway, im with shaman guy here; i just hope geonpil suffers. i genuinely don't care if he feels bad for what he did in the past, he's still acting the same and making the same mistakes over and over, and that's what's so repulsive... and don't get me started on the smut scenes with Beom... not only is the consent extremely dubious, it just feels so disrespectful to Yeonseung who geonpil supposingly "cares" about and believes has recently died... like fuck you bro
and i get that geonpil was in denial about Yeonseung being dead, but like, so what? you're in denial that your good friend of ten years is dead, so you go fuck his look-alike multiple times instead of grieving like a normal person? again, it's just SO disrespectful and revolting. 18 chapters in, and every time geonpil starts to feel any remorse or grief at all, he just goes and fucks Beom again. again, FUCK you bro

i know they were never in a relationship or anything, but tell me im not the only one who gets mad cheating/affair vibes from geonpil and this whole pseudo "love triangle" situation... like him hiding Beom from Yeonseung in YEONGSEUNG'S house and then the two of them going at it while Yeonseung's in the other room like plsss im crying. geonpil you know how Yeonseung feels about you pleaseeeeee stop already and come clean
anyway, poor Yeonseung, he seems like such a sweetheart. i hope he can muster enough self-respect to stop pining after this mf who clearly don't like him like that and has done him dirty so many times in the past...
also i hope Beom stops looking like Yeonseung at some point 'cuz right now he kinda gives off "Yeonseung replacement" vibes... pls let him be his own person, especially since im pretty sure he and geonpil are gonna be endgame
also earlier in the story when geonpil was comparing Yeonseung and Beom, like with how Beom would say things like "love" while Yeonseung wouldn't.. it gave me the same vibes as those dramas where the husband/boyfriend cheats on his long-term partner with someone younger and more naive and innocent, and would start justifying the cheating 'cuz the younger partner fulfilled their needs better or some bullshit. AGAIN i know geonpil's not actually a cheater but fuckkkkk i can't help it he gives me the same vibes. probably why he makes me so mad ugh
