Because there's no way they wouldn't take advantage of benevolent woman in charge. And besides feminism doesn't exist in historical society meaning a woman needs to be feared for her to control and lead the country. if she wasn't, they wouldn't listen to her (this is just my opinion though)

I feel like benevolent wouldn't be a good word, considering it's historical there will always be a sort of land disputation between kingdoms,so the leader will always be considered evil to one nation but just to the other, also because most historical manhwas are eurocentric women would not really be able to lead without being feared, since they used to literally burn women for being able to read or wanting to study,I feel like there are some 'benevolent' women leaders in manhwas, such as the queen from the greatest estate developer. I'm sure there have been good women leaders in Europe who didn't have to be feared, but realistically if you are in a position of great power and are also a monarchy they would never be able to be truly good, there's a reason why the majority of monarchies no longer exist or don't hold much power anymore. If manhwas did try to show leadership positions in manhwas Asia and Africa would be the better choice historically, also religion holds a huge reason as to why women didn't end up in powerful positions, and like a lot of historical manhwas do have like churches and priests or something, idk this just my opinion

Merry Go, Round. Sorry.
