i hate how shady he is with his intentions jaeyi is very straightforward but this guy is a sleazy untrustworthy prick like he’s obvs manipulating ideum by appealing to ideums naiveness it’s so jarring fuck off mate trying to play the kind card cause you can’t be normal about anything your brother has ever had and even if some ppl will say he was interested in ideum before finding out he had a connection to jaeyi it’s pretty in your face obvious that his sentiment has intensified after finding out about ideums connection to jaeyi he’s obvs a weirdo
i find it funny that people wanted ideum with jiseong despite knowing nothing about him except the fact that he’s a little bitch according to jaeyi and yes give the benefit of the doubt cause we only knew one side of the story but also through the context clues left throughout the story you could tell he didn’t have the purest intentions towards ideum to begin with which is fine they are grown but for ppl to act like jiseong is the better option between these two is laughable he’s such a Bro guy just so unlikeable tragic story or not

i feel for him so bad because he’s found someone that he has smth in common with and that he’s kind of comfortable with as well and he’s spreading his wings and flying out of his comfort zone but so far it seems like jiseong has approached him with ulterior motives and i’m just so sad for him getting unknowingly caught up in the conflict between two brothers as well im so stressed im genuinely thinking of like dropping this story until it gets better
i think this might lead to them ending their agreement i fear ………. either jaeyi is gonna realise that ideum isn’t into it next chapter stop halfway and leave instead of hashing out all his deep rooted issues or they go all the way through jaeyi realises he’s fucked up and feels like shit and ends it all anyways bc i believe jaeyi isn’t a bad person even when he broke jiseongs stupid ass toy he brought it to the hospital and apologised (now idk if he did that because his parents made him or he did that of his own initiative) but i just don’t think he’s the type of person to go out of his way to hurt someone AND I REALLY REALLY HOPE THW WRITER WONT GO THAT WAY PLEASEEE
i think from what i have seen so far jaeyi uses repression to deal with the situations around him which is why i think even if he realise she might care for ideum more than he lets on he would surpress all that and fall into nonchalance and indifference because as long as you don’t care having something taken from you won’t hurt as bad you can tell he enjoyed judo the transition from him looking at the banner with his name on it and then the banner with someone else’s name in it shows us that and his habit of lying on the floor might be linked to trying to ground himself i feel so so so bad for him that’s such a strenuous pressure to put on a child because why did he genuinely have to compromise everything even having to give up judo which makes no sense to me since his brother became a swimmer anyways but i think this in a way shows how even if jiseong didn’t much care about certain things he still wanted to take them away from jaeyi just a miserable situation all around and while i can empathise with child jiseong you are a grown ass HELATHY RECOVERED MAN APPROACHING your thirties time to wisen up and get a grip of reality man
jiseong turned out the way he did because his parents fostered an environment where that was permissible and even encouraged?? this makes me so sad for jaeyi and now he’s gonna cover all his feelings up and pretend like he never cared for ideum and fall back on the premises that they are just fuckbuddies with no attachment because of how used he is to having everything taken away by his useless fucking shitty brother (also this is my own personal opinion but i really hate when there’s a fuckbuddies WHERE BITH PARTIES AGREE ON NO FEELINGS JUST SEX then one of them starts to catch feelings but refuses to end the agreement and everyone treats them like a victim and the other party starts getting treated like the devil from the bible, as much as i love ideum their initial agreement has always been no strings attached fuckbuddies they both agreed that if it starts becoming smth more they can end the relationship and i have already seen so many people dunk on jaeyi bc ideum is hurting like im so sorry and as much as i love ideum jaeyi is not to blame here)
it’s also interesting to see the other group members interact with that jun guy because i don’t think they know the full extent of that happened at least through what im understanding of the story so to them jaeyoung and jun might have just had a falling out or whatever im sure there’s a coverup story about it too so it’s just idk interesting to see how these relationships are going to be explored it’s obvious to me that all the group members adore and look up to jaeyoung so i am excited to see how juns return and his contact to their group members is going to pan out
the plot is soooo interesting and i do wanna know whether seungmin knowingly approached jaeyoung bc he knew jaeyoung had some ties to the drugs that one part im not too clear on idk if this would cause a fallout between the two of them tho
their conflict was boring and uninteresting and idek if i can call it a conflict neither one confessed to the other they just went off to the military jeongyoon still liked him after all that time despite there barely being any foundation or basis for his feelings the other one 1. never confessed 2. never said anything about his feelings 3. didn’t ask him out properly or whatever, just stupid misunderstandings based on stupid assumptions jeongyoon apologising bc he didn’t realise the other one was in love with him even tho how could he have possibly known when the other guy again never said anything or confessed or treated him specially in fact he treated him kinda coldly in the beginning which by wasn’t even resolved they just came back from the military and were suddenly buddy buddy lets have sec so how could jeongyoon possibly have realised that that guy was in love with him
they are both kind of stupid but at least it kind of made for an interesting story i guess their misunderstanding wasn’t even that interesting since neither one confessed like chaheon didn’t even try to confess or express ships feelings or seek clarification man whatever
do ppl know if they don’t like something as in it doesn’t bring them any joy they can just simply not engage with it or anything that has to do with it have a bunch of whiny weirdoes in the comments crying about how they don’t like this and that (none of it substantial criticism of the story plot or setting) acting like they are being held at gun point to read this ?? lol

jinseong does not look nice at all actually i think he’s going to mirror jaeyi because imo jaeyi is kind he is genuinely a kind person you can see it in the way he interacts not only with ideum but some of his classmates as well i think his intention is to come across as aloof and nonchalant and i think that has a lot to do with his past, while jinseong uses kindness as a front i don’t think it’s as genuine as jaeyis but idk it’s just the vibe im getting off of him atm
