I think from the spoiler's I hear that he was being possessed and that he's not the main killer, instead that the killer is instead a being of evil like a demon or monster of some kind that uses different body's to kill her every time. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I mean your not wrong about it being classic lol, the reason why the demon keeps on killing her is because she can unpossessed them by having skin on skin contact
