I feel like it’s hard to blame solely ban or shinhwi. They are both really young, ban was groomed his whole life and we are still uncovering what exactly is up with him in terms of abilities. Heart hurts for them both…I’m curious to see where this all goes next. I just wanna give ban a hug. Wow this was a beautiful but also painful read. It leaves you with that profound emptiness after completing it. Was not expecting this kind of tone and writing from this author but color me impressed.

In the novel they placed more emphasis on how infected / bad his injured leg is! Like quite literally he was struggling to walk and stuff levels of pain and this hospital was far. (just thought this was an interesting change) it’s supposed to be a big deal I wonder if they’re changing it so that he hurts it more later rather than now

I too just finished the novel and I just feel…wow. It was so amazing and emotionally gutting. The ending is as amazing as it is emptying. I NEED TO TALK AB THE ENDING W SOMEONE LIKE….WHAT DO WE THINK YALL HAVE ANY HEADCANONS CRIES??

Leon gets a little better. They acknowledge his casual relationships and they discuss it between the two (the translations r a little dodgy but)

What he did is not okay BUT it seems like he genuinely just looked at it differently (he rationalized his relationships were just casual/physical but he views Benjamin differently) so take with that what you will!

The end of the season seemed like it ended on a happy note and they did discuss his promiscuity. And as much as I hate he previously slept around while with Ben, he seems WHIPPED af for him and I have to admit seeing him in sad jealous puppy mode (endearing) trying to help Ben as much as he can while investigating the museum case was honestly adorable !

I hope if we get another season we can touch more on Leon’s past </3 so much I want to know like how he established his connections, the bar, his troubled past which was hinted at etc.
