I think Tod is some kind of supernatural apex predator of sorts that takes on a human disguise to get close to the shepherds. I don't know maybe it's just me, but the idea of a wolf in shepherd's clothing seems rather appealing, and inclining to me
This is an absolute masterpiece. The pacing, the characters, the plot. It had me on a chokehold from the first chapter and I don't think my jaw went back in place till I finished.
I especially love that everything in it is contradictory. Was the main story a reality? Or was it fiction? Did he love the role they created, or did he love the flesh behind the masks?
Anyone who goes through what the MC went through is guaranteed to run mad. And the second ml, oh god.

Is it the author's, for creating such a story and staying when he was forced into it? When given the chance to leave and refuses?
