Just wandering what it is about and if it's worth reading it
For the concept, this is like a post-apocalypse world where the mc was found by the ml, a some sort of a leader in their safe base. Story basically delves into the psychological reasoning of the ml since he lacks any moral principle and how the mc would escape the place.
I'd say its worth reading considering the art style and interesting storyline if you want to know like "huh, what made the ml like that tho? is he even human, or not human?". Cuz truly, we're questioning if he's even a human despite all of the people in the base being human.
Post-apocalyptic but they don't go over the details as very soon they are all moved to secured area.
It's interesting dark romance? Usually MC is mistreated, love interest falls first and goes about making MC fall for them later (usually with the power of d***).
This one does not follow this trope. Don't want to skillet too much...
Hope that helps
Before the redemption arc even started, his author went on hiatus - as always - by leaving a truly weird comment about how the story will reference more "plot". I was truly confused because for me the first part of this (let's say everything until this supposed redemption arc) has very poor in plot and just a copycat of BJ Alex: heteronormative characters, some reasons to have sex, poor attitudes both sides, inevitable cracks and no emotional or mental connection at all. Literally I think they never talked. So I was weirded out when I read sth like "the next part will be more plot driven" because there was no plot at all from the start. Then, redemption arc started. And there's been no redemption. Literally, we saw more sex, some poor explanations about violent behaviours, some flashbacks, but nothing more. No real apology. No real conversation or confrontation or responsibility over past actions. NOTHING. The protagonists in rral life would end up splitting after 2 seconds or worst case scenario spiraling into their super toxic relationship until one of them runs away. This is so not how you should treat and represent topics like SA, domestic violence (there was a lot of DV in their relationship), responsibility, forgiveness and toxic relationships. I am so angry at the people who told me back then when I posted a comment asking what would ever mean "more plot-driven" for this author since there is no real character development nor story evolution, telling me to go read something else or that I was stupid for not understanding. Problem is that people are as shallow as the story they appreciate, and I should be free to say that I tried reading this for the art but I don't resonate with any of the contents. Truly disappointed.
Are we really gonna just forget how last chapter (22) was leading to somewhere smut and now all of a sudden training-bitchyreporter-advshoot as nothing ever happened?
WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THAT DAMN BLOWJOB BROS I WANNA KNOW
how could we possibly skip the whole thing
The author posted this on her twitter last week:
I'm sorry for pouring cold water on your excitement, but just to warn you in advance so you don't get too excited and end up disappointed later...the last scene in chapter 22 doesn't continue on chapter 23. The real fun is still a lii~ttle bit further back!! Deciding how to end each chapter appropriately is quite challenging for me. I'm still working hard on improving my skills~! I'm always grateful for my readers' support!

Sorry people, can anyone explain me - if you understood, obv - what does it mean "season was plot-driven"? I mean, the plot is so basic that I can't figure why the author would say such a thing, moreover this part already displayed feelings in a lot of ways, so I don't get what should we expect from the next part. I assume the plot will grow even thinner for the "feelings" to gain prevalence? In the sense that there's gonna be real mature conversations, open talks, no mirroring and such? I have read quite a lot of the genre, but this intrigued me only for the style - and this note left me really puzzled.

I suppose I shall watch heater rivalry too atp
