Sugar is a quick cheat to give bursts of energy. I recommend eating fruit if you have it (strawberries, apples, peaches are good choices) but candy bars also give me a boost of energy. This is assuming you don’t want to use caffeine. A quick jog if possible might help, or if you really can’t stay awake, set a timer for 30 minutes and give in to......

There’s “show, don’t tell” and then there’s this, which doesn’t show, or tell, but expects you to infer what the heck is going on by reading the stars and interpreting hidden codes that aren’t actually there because that would have required narrative planning past a fifth grade level outline.

The beginning was good and comedic but it felt as though the longer the story went on, the more the author forgot that the readers can’t actually read their mind. At times I genuinely thought panels or dialogue were missing, but I’m almost certain that wasn’t the case.

I enjoyed it and it was fun, but it was sort of a brain mostly off story, not because of toxic pervert things or anything, but because if you think to long about any part of the plot it crumbles to dust in your confused hands.

-Spoiler Stuff Below

The story arcs came way too quickly in short succession- for the first “beta lover” it was unclear if he was the original mc, and his story line ended so abruptly it felt rushed and unsatisfying.

A lot of “big reveals” were made with very little payoff or explanation. I don’t believe a story has to hand feed a reader every little bit of plot of character development, but it would be nice to at least have it served on a plate. A story can leave things open ended and up to interpretation and still be good, but this just felt perplexing. My biggest issue was with the introduction of the “blonde alpha guy” toward the end. Was he god or a god? Was he the author? Was he some spirit or other entity? Who knows??? Not us. I don’t think this question necessarily needed to be answered, but the way he’s introduced into the story and then does a singular big reveal before fucking off into the ether could have been addressed. He reveals to the ML that the MC is from another world and there’s a brief exchange that. Goes no where. The ML doesn’t actually say whether he believes this or not, the Blonde Guy never shows up again, and while the ML makes his own decision about whether to stay or not, he doesn’t tell the ML, despite the ML knowing that this was an ultimatum he was facing. The ML is supposed to be obsessive; it honestly felt ooc that he wasn’t even interested in what the MC was going to choose, even if he didn’t think it was a real option. Not to mention the brief look at the MCs “real life” where the OG OC of the story is apparently a rival actor??? Very randomly thrown in without any further explanation.

I also thought it was so silly how the ML is this big corporate CEO who kills anyone who breathes wrong and everyone knows it and is terrified and that’s just. Normal. He’s not even in the mafia or criminal enterprises. He just a rich dude who casually murders people and beats the hell out of them. It was fine in the beginning of the story when the whole vibe was comedic but as the story rushed along (I would say “dragged on” but that would mean time was spent on each story arc) it just felt contrived and out of place.

All that said, I did like the story when I didn’t think too hard about it and it was a fun whirlwind read.
For a story similar to this that is actually well written, I recommend Secretary Jin’s Confinement Diary. There is BDSM, and extreme yandere, and personally I enjoyed how it handled transmigration- it felt very unique and intriguing and tied up loose ends nicely.
