Jaeha thinks that he’s this desperate hopelessly in love man and that he thinks he’s someone who’s only always begging for a bit of attention but in Taegeon’s eyes he’s never showed any romantic affection at all. He’s very stoic and very short with his words he can’t explain anything because his self esteem is so low and the way he views Taegeon is so high, that there’s just this gap that none of them could ever fill unless they actually communicate. Which even became worse after him misunderstanding that Taegeon married him for revenge.
Taegeon on the other hand is obviously very in love with him, he used Jaeha’s ex to get to him, he stalks Jaeha all the time, he has people that follow his husband, he’s so overly jealous of evryone around Jaeha even Jaeha’s own brother lol. The thing is that Taegeon also thinks Jaeha hates him & is disgusted of his gang violent way of living. Ever since the kidnapping incident that made Jaeha misunderstand, Taegeon also misunderstood that Jaeha doesn’t want to be involved in any gang related activities. To Taegeon right now, Jaeha sees him as a dirty man with criminal hands, he also probably thinks that Jaeha is this rich kid who’ll never be able to adapt to his lifestyle.
The way I see it, Taegeon uses Jaeha’s rut as an excuse to hold his husband, Jaeha thinks they do the deed and that’s it but to Taegeon that’s his only chance and he leaves because he still too thinks that Jaeha finds him disgusting, but also doesn’t want Jaeha to seek anyone else. Jaeha obviously thinks that Taegeon hates his ass too, they’re so stupid.
Now Taegeon doesn’t want to let Jaeha go because he’s so in love with him, and thatthe marriage is the only thing that still keeps them bound, Jaeha asks for divorce because he’s like “My spouse hates me, but he hates me so so much that he can’t even ask for divorce so, I will give him the divorce he needs instead.” Like brother how little do you think of yourself

Idk if it’s okay for me to say this when most of the times I just ignore shit cause I guess SA is so common in bl that you just gotta turn off your brain, but I really just have stories that I think highly of and would make it a good recommendation to other people, and the common thing that they have is not being rapey at all. Season one of this was so good, the art was immaculate. their chemistry is also amazing, and you just really can’t help yourself be excited for season 2. But now here it is, though instead of finding ideas to make their current set up work and slowly build them once again for each other the author decided to just have the top imprison and rape the main character, which basing from their characters in S1 was so not him at all, he did a whole 180 and suddenly he’s not Aaron Hunter anymore, just your generic toxic obsessed mafia gang leader I’m-so-evil-you-can’t-escape-me top, Idk why I’m lowkey disappointed in this, maybe because with other bls you don’t really expect anything and it’s rare to find a good story that’s good and you can bond over with people in real life. For some reason as long as there is smut it has value in yaoi, so food for thought? If you wanna succeed in bl just put rape in your stories, because smut slop always sells.
They are all so dumb, I dropped the author’s previous story because the mc was such a bland pushover with no spine and nothing interesting in his body, I thought this was gonna be different. Why is the author able to write good counterparts but he cant give the same backbone to their main characters? I expected more from the teach but he has no brain, he’s like a yes man to all the wrong people, every update just proves to me of how much an unseasoned chicken he is.
I’m not ready for this to end, this is literally one of the best bl manhwas I read that I’ve been into for such a long time. The author has their own issues but I literally think it’s perfect, Jake and Shin look like your typical toxic couple but they never were at least to me. With all the common bl tropes like being possessively obsessed, imprisoning, stabbing, harassing, and humiliating who they love, this comes on top because this story didn’t do that or at least it didn’t execute it the generic way. While, Jake lied to Shin about stuff, he never forced Shin to turn to a life like his, Shin chose it for himself and Jake was just there to accept whatever he has to offer. They are so romantic, and intimate without even saying their I love yous, they just have a way of knowing that. The chemistry they have is top notch like are there other stories that could do it better?
