It’s rare that I dislike a male lead but DAMN with each chapter that comes I despise Riftan more. He’s SUCH a red flag, why is he always raising his voice at Maxi and trying to be so controlling DESPITE what she wants and clearly states? She apologized for comparing him to her father but she shouldn’t have, she was right. Wtfym « should I lock you up », is he insane.
I’m so glad Maxi got the last word and gained what she wanted. You go girl, we see your improvement with each chapter I’m proud

how can they be so cute AND insufferable at the same time omg. i love them sm and i LOVE seeing them happy but it ALWAYS means that things will go south right after.
but i’m really happy seeing Maxi standing her ground and speaking up!! that’s some development and we love to see it. with less and less stuttering too! queen <3
does anyone happen to know (if there’s a novel) when she’s going to learn that he’s the emperor? i mean their interactions so far are cute and all but the succession of misunderstandings and her fixation (as usual) on the original story are…. well. just hoping it won’t last too long :x
based on the first chapter i want to see them without the misunderstanding sooo bad
this motherfucker makes me want to throw up. but like, he’s making me sick, for real. i want him to die, soon and painfully. there’s something about his obsessiveness and how he throws himself on her, physically forces himself close to her that viscerally disgusts me. i’m uneasy and i hate it, i really hope it’s only for a few chapters before for x or y reason Lorena can get away from him.
first, why the fuck would you just let them do that, second i just KNOW she’s going to put distance between them and push him away because communication is SUCH a foreign concept in this genre that’s the only tool in authors’ hands. why can’t she just TELL HIM what’s going on and that they need to STOP seing each other that much?? at worst he’ll fire everyone. SO WHAT they’re all trashes.
