It's crystal clear: the author has always consistently given the secretary, and not ML, completely unfairly favorable treatment from MC, and intends to continue giving "salvation" to the rapist, not ML.
While ruining ML's character by suddenly adding a completely unnecessary "bet/promise" plot to forcibly insert rape and a who's-daddy-bullshit, she has desperately tried to protect her beloved secretary, even portraying him as having a sudden change of heart at the last moment, despite there's absolutely no room for fuckin justification.
She will continue to downgrade ML's character to match this worst trash MC even slightly, trivializing the hell ML has endured, forcing him to accept MC like a pathetic slave without any atonement, and will focus solely on restoring her beloved rapist's image by having him thwart his father's plot.
