i totally dont understand why she revealed her secret to him. even if "no one believed him" he has ties to her enemy. you can tell this will have an actual harem ending bc FL doesnt want anyone to not like her even if its in her best interest.
I think you’re missing the point. It isn’t that she doesn’t want anyone to dislike her. She is avoiding her own death and also realizing just how much the original princess harmed people. The FL has empathy, it’s not the same thing at all.

Why?
1. the whole "i dont know anything but if i ask i will look incompetent" theme is kind of getting annoying and 2. after she heard how much the tree meant to the people she still wanted to cut it down bc she thought it was ugly. thats why she was sad, so its kinda wtf.
I understand you but she has trauma bruh you can’t expect her to just be able to get over it because people r nice to her. It’ll take her awhile. The tree thing I agree, but I see it more as she wanted to make it pretty for him and the tree was in the way
You feel that way because this last chaptar was at least 3-4 chapters in the novel. she is abused for years to belive she is worthles and get hurt phsycaly. she is trying her best to learn things and get accepted by others. And for the tree, without the knowladge, most logical thing is to get rid of it. She was the one to came up with the ideato revive it in the novel anyways （/TДT)/
i dont think its trauma. She acknowledges that she doesnt know anything about money. but doesnt want help because she doesnt want any one else to know. thats sounds like pride, not trauma. its not like she was trying to ask but trauma prevented her from doing it. she is just like nope, i dont know what im doing and no one else can know im winging it. she can be a good person with flaws. she just has an immature personality.
if thats how that interaction went with the tree then i stand corrected. i actually was disappointed when she didnt ask ruth and was just like "but its ugly". because of her trauma i expected her to be more mindful of the commoners. toddlers are the only species i know that have no concept of whats going on but will 100% act like they understand the world. she reminds me of a toddler. she is super sweet and cute but a little annoying atm

It’s actually quite frankly trauma. Due to her treatment she never learned anything , she doesn’t want to reach out and ask because she’s afraid then if doing so they will see her as incompetent or treat her as she was treated before marrying. I’m surprised you didn’t catch it, not in a mean way of course. Frankly she has every right to act in such way and saying she has an immature personality is quite wrong. Lmao
trauma does not mean a person is incapable of making good choices. if your answer to everything is "but she has trauma!" then she will never learn and forever be a weak person. im not even saying she is a bad person. i just think that she is immature as well as being traumatized. there are immature people that arent traumatized and mature traumatized people. this is why stan ruth. he called her out on her flaws and is making her fix them. ruth will make her a stronger FL.
the thing is, you don’t get to decide how people get over or deal with their traumas, she was literally abused physically and mentally for YEARS since she was a child, saw how her sister gets treated better and they literally didn’t teach her sht made her wear rags they literally made her so insecure to the point she’s scared of asking others for help thinking they will mistreat her too, hell even riftan expressing love to her is so foreign to her she was never taught anything but suddenly she has all these duties to do as the lady of the house, also the only person she could rely on is traveling so she’s experiencing more anxiety and worry of messing up. also she literally just recently left her abusive family how do yall expect her to get over her trauma so quick
EXACTLY. It’s annoying that you guys expect her to heal so fast and be a strong bad ass woman. Sorry that’s not what you get for now. i have not once discredited her trauma. i never once said she needed to get over it.i understand why she is that way. i was simply stating THAT I FEEL its more immaturity then trauma itself. i grew up in the system and i know many people who were severely abused outside and inside the system that have more common sense/mature then her. YES it could all stem from her trauma. one thing i learned is my trauma is not an excuse for my mistakes; excuses do not solve problems, only create more. so everyone using "she is traumatized" is literally an enabler to her poor choices. i dont understand how people just dont see that. the more people try to defend her poor choices the more i do not like the FL. its crazy how if we all dont like the FL 100% youre just wrong.
See if she was hurting people wether it was physically or mentally and people excused that on her trauma then I would’ve agreed with you, but she isn’t exactly harming anyone more than the is harming herself without even noticing it. Her being technically “locked up” all her life since she was a child literally kept away from any normal social interaction with people on top of being physically and mentally abused made her like this, she still doesn’t know what the right decisions are and how to ask people for help because to her these things are tied to bad memories so she’s afraid but still you can still see her trying and like I said she just recently left her family so you can’t expect her to change that quick but at least she’s putting effort and trying to help even if her decisions are bad now she’s gonna learn later. Also like I said riftan is probably the only person alive she can trust even if it’s little trust so far she still sometimes feel comfort with him around but he’s not around atm so she’s more anxious, and lastly I’m glad Ruth is starting to help her and guide her because he would probably make her able to open up more also he’d probably be the second person she can kinda trust or rely on in a way. I haven’t read the novel but I know she’s probably gonna change soon with the people around her helping her just give her time.
how is not accidently spending almost all of someones money not hurting them? if ruth didnt step in and maxi accidently bankrupt her husband im pretty sure people would be would be hurt mentally or emotionally.
and that is because of her ignorance due to her trauma and due to her parents isolating her from literally living like any normal human, not because she wanted to hurt them intentionally thankfully ruth was able to catch on quick tho so now he will teach her and help guide her BUT if after learning she doesn’t put more effort into working things right then yeah you can be mad at her but now literally everything that happened so far is like i said due to her not knowing better yet.
i can be mad at her now. im entitled to my opinion. youre pretty much saying that people are allowed to tell you how they hurt you as long as they were traumatized and its unintentional.

I hate the trauma excuse when someone constantly Fck up even after people telling them but they still use their trauma as an excuse to get away with it which happens a lot irl, the difference here is that maxi never had anyone teach her better that’s why using her trauma as an excuse is valid but like I said after someone teach her better like Ruth and maybe riftan and she keeps repeating mistakes that hurt people then that’s different to me.
