Thought this was hilarious back in 2017. Rereading this now that I'm older... man, he really treated Chiyo so badly. I hate it when guys in BL treat their girlfriends like third wheels and emotionally cheat on them. Would've been better if he and Chiyo were not even dating to begin with (could've just been a one-sided crush on Chiyo's part)

I think this manhwa would be better if it wasn't built on the premise that the bottom was in love with the top. Because if you love someone, but then you ghost them multiple times and reject them at every turn, well that's just not convincing at all. The only one who actually acts like he cares is the top. This story is really about the top being unrequitedly in love with the bottom and chasing him because of that; if the bottom really loved him he would actually give a damn about the fact that he was waiting outside his place for an entire day, for instance, but all he did was ignore him and then tell him to fuck off. All he does is hurt him and then act like he's the victim. And I honestly just don't like him at all and would prefer if the top just found someone else to obsess over who wasn't like this. It's one thing to reject others out of your own fear of rejection and quite another to just... not seem to care at all when they throw so much affection at you
So basically, I'd have preferred if we weren't told that the bottom liked him or anything and the story was just about the top liking the bottom unrequitedly (at first) and trying to pursue him despite being repeatedly rejected. Because again, the bottom's crush on the top is just not convincing at all and lowkey gives "with friends like these, who needs enemies" but replace friends with... whatever the word is for someone who has a crush on you
Anyways I'm not sure if I can handle any more of this one-sided pursuit. I left off on chapter 22 and I'll probably only continue if I know that things are going to change soon. Not interested in a chasing story where the bottom doesn't feel worthy of being chased imo
to be fair he was a little cunt to him from the second he confessed all those years ago. I would go as far as to say he still hasn't rejected him enough, though he will accept his feelings soon cause he's always been in love. You don't hang out with someone who rejected you and then had the audacity to call you names and a sleaze. If the premise wasn't there, this would just be a story about the mc escaping an annoying asshole
I mean, if I remember correctly, after the ML (bottom) confessed, the MC (top) agreed to sleep with him. Then the ML ghosted him and disappeared for 6 years. What did the MC do wrong in that situation? And when did he ever reject the ML?
mb i forgot the mc is actually the blond. Anyway, he didn't technically "reject him", since the ml shot himself down while confessing, but he agreed to sleep w him thinking he won an imaginary fight against his rival, was an asshole while they did it and basically took advantage of his feelings. It's not like this is that deeo since there's no abuse involved but I find the way mc's portrayed disgusting (his thoughts, mostly). Then he got all pushy and made up a story in his mind and proceeded to call him a slut and so on... If anything, props to the ml for actually ghosting him and not hurting himself further
I hate every fucking character in this manga so much, especially the male ones. And the author himself is probably a disgusting piece of shit
