No matter what the female lead is like you think this is God’s favourite? He’s initially a predatory misogynist. He emphasised she’s young and he wants nothing but a young girl to shut up and be his outlet for his sexual needs It’s like all of yall are forgetting the red flags just because he has a handsome face. The only win here is that this is what the female lead wants and she got it.

Because someone that can't read the description to see that this particular story isn't for them is obviously so much smarter, right? No shit he's a red flag, that's what readers are here for. That's what the female lead wants. You don't like it? Find another story with green flags and maybe stop acting so morally superior yucking other people's yum.

I don’t give two fucks that he’s a red flag. There are many red flag male leads that aren’t straight up predators. Really there should be a limit to what women find attractive to read but I suppose both Koreans and braindead fans enjoy older man using younger woman as sex toy trope but it’s okay! He eventually becomes obsessed your taste is trash, even in dark romance
This is directed toward a certain jackass who blocked because they knew they were wrong.
You're literally on here putting down women because what they read doesn't fit to your moral standards. You sound extremely pretentious, especially for putting real world factors on a simple smut story. But sorry if I don't take your critique on personal taste seriously when you can't even read the description. It clearly shows the trope you hated would be present and you still chose to try it.
People love a good redemption or dynamic reversal story so...yeah it is a pretty popular trope. Which means you purposely went to a comic you didnt like just to insult people for liking things you dont just to feel morally superior. You don't have to read this. You also don't have to be a jackass to other readers , but I see you chose to disregard both today.

Your right with the last statement, but ngl the other part is right too about how the ml is totally not it part lmao cuz let's be real. Just glad that the fl actually wants it, and she's actually the one holding the leash while the ml frantically overthink and believe HE'S the one with the leash LMAOO Finally some change though, I love this story so much that I hope more authors use this kind of trope. Dude totally believes he's it, while my girl just want that dih as she lives carefree.
(Also.. anyone got any similar stories like this one?? Ml who overthinks, and believes he's the one who has the upper hand in the relationship while unknowingly slowly falling for the mc x mc who's kinda carefree, slow, airheaded, and doesn't expect any "affection" as she wants to be exactly in that position. OFC, no abuse.)

No abuse? Lol....idk how you gonna find one without that. I have two but i mean, I think there will always be some abuse in that type of comic...One is BL Secretary Jin's Confinement Diary. One is straight, The Saintess's Petals Become Wet. Do note that the straight one officials are just now being uploaded as uncensored. Man that one was funny.

I think ur misunderstanding me, by abuse I meant the ml abusing the fl, NOT that there is totally no abuse in the story. Ofc there's different types of abuse, but I'm specifically talking about physical abuse.

Wow, it's been months since I last opened this website, and I just realized my random comment caused quite a discussion.
I appreciate your opinion. Honestly, I didn't put much thought into my comment at the time. I simply meant that I envied the FMC's life and wished I could experience that kind of happiness after hardship.
"God's favorite" was probably a poor choice of words on my part. English isn't my first language, and I can see how it could be interpreted differently from what I intended. That's on me, and I'm happy to clarify it. But you're also free to disagree with me. Everyone has their own battles, they have theirs, you have yours, and I have mine.
What I don't think is fair is using my comment to generalize or insult other readers who don't share your interpretation. If you have an issue with what I said, direct it only at me. There's no need to drag everyone else into it.
My professors always taught us that literature doesn't have only one valid interpretation. People bring their own experiences, views, and beliefs into the way they read a story. Which is why literacy criticism exists in the first place. Your interpretation doesn't have to be mine, and mine doesn't have to be yoirs.
My comment came from mine: at the time, I was struggling in several aspects of life, and this story made me wish that maybe, after enough hardship, I could have my own "happy ending" too.
Maybe I should've said, "What's it like to live my dream?" instead of "What's it like to be God's favorite?" Fair enough. But that's where my comment ends. I don't think a poorly chosen phrase means everyone who interpreted it differently deserves to be dismissed or insulted.
You don't have to agree with me, and I don't have to agree with you. That's okay. Let's just leave it at that and enjoy the stories we like.
Anyway, thank you guys for sharing your perspectives. It's been a while since I've seen a discussion like this, and honestly, it kind of made me miss my university classes
Girl, how does it feel being God’s favorite? Wish to unsubscribe from reality and subscribe to yours instead

Yes. Someone needs to be sane, and there are great stories to read
If yall really find him attractive it’s just astonishing. I thought everyone liked this story because the female lead is getting what she wants.
