Okay, amazing world building and the character development was amazing too and the backgrounds made me cry - I just loved this so much

this is an alright story and ig its cute at times (for once the mother isn't dead lmao) but I can't help but think that all of these good things happing to mc and all these ppl liking her is bc she's literally a grown women in a child's body. The thought of the actual child not receiving all of this care and attention bc she's not some genius that began talking early and knew basic maths from the start has always been a distressing concept (I see children as ones who should get love and attention regardless). Its less of an issue here, I think bc her mother loved her either way and its mentioned the father in the og story felt rather guilty in not treating her well but those thoughts still float about in my head. Would all of these stories where its an actual child instead of an adult lead to a happy end? I doubt it and it makes me sad

art was beautiful but this one left an awful taste in my mouth - none of the actual deep issues were properly delt with AT ALL. The dehumanisation and slavery; the way the mc and everyone like him are called 'beasts' - it was all brushed off bc mc was saved (kinda bc it feels implied that he's fine with having to give up his horns and hair after regrowth for his shiny new boyfriend).
The capturement and slavery of these beings is still very much present and the culprit of mc's kidnapping got off scotch free. The fact that even the bracelet mc got given has 'jewels' from one of the beings made me feel viscerally ill. Crazy how the ml can call someone a 'beast' yet find em sexy.
This premise feels like it should've been properly fleshed out - so that it can be seen properly that these 'beasts' are also just people. It feels almost like the ml has one moment where he went from 'oh he's kinda....' to 'oh he is a living breathing person' (the bit where mc finally can talk again). The fact that the treatment of other beings is assumed to remain the same is awful, as though if they aren't a bed partner, they don't matter?
Let's not get into how much psychological damage this whole ordeal must've been, to the extent where mc even losses his voice, yet we all know who he ends up with. With the ml barely even acknowledging it.
ALSO, it is implied that most 'beasts' don't speak, only 'high lvl' ones, but I have a theory that the 'beast' considered 'high lvl' are most similar to homo sapiens and thus the herd/group whatever speaks whatever human language and teach it to their young in the off chance they need to blend in (hide their ears under a hood and distract anyone before fleeing, yall gettit). Those considered 'low lvl' would have a MUCH harder time evn pretending they are a homo sapiens, thus the benefits of teaching the human language would be low. We should also consider those whose vocal chords simply cannot comfortably accommodate a human spoken language. HOWEVER that doesn't mean they can't learn to understand it and those who simply can't speak it, could always learn sign of just learn to write. Communication to remind weirdo humans that these are sentient beings yanno? Please allow me transmigrate into this novel to prove my theory

Also, I think it's interesting the villian blond has such an inflated sense of ego and I suspect it might be bc she thinks this is fake, but even then she should be aware by now that this world is real and so are the ppl in it?? Like once u start to spend so much time there, wouldn't u?? Our mc, she came into the world of the book and had to face very real and very dangerous hardships that showed that this was her new reality, hence she put effort into it and cares deeply for the lives around her (see her stepping in to stab demon lord, saying no to her horseman being left behind to the wolves and her saving the lil birthday girl). I'm guessing the blond bitch used those dark magic stuff to take everything - she got it all easy, so with her ego, these are characters and she is a 'higher being' that knows the story and therefore should have 'all the benefits'. So when a newer, better character comes along (amnesiac baby demon lord)? She feels like thats hers too, despite never having out in anything.
Girl is just off of it. Remember, ladies, if ya go into a comic or novel, don't go on a crazy power trip. Probably best to stay away from it all.
