She has the power to seal like the way she sealed the yokai that was possessing Tokiko, Yako’s mother. Her power most likely first manifested when she left the barrier as a child and sealed the yokai that took her within herself, but she doesn’t remember how it happened or exactly which yokai it was. She dose know that it involves that big monkey looking great yokai, though.
