Reading this might help
My take is that he's been into pilsang since the moment he saw him during the first story with the robot ML when pilsang was still obsessed with the cute MC. He just doesn't want to admit to himself that what he feels is the "disgusting feeling" or related feelings (like jealousy, worry, etc) to what he considers a fake none-existent emotion, love. The funny thing is he's been trying to get pilsang to obsess over him the way he was over the other MC, basically wants pilsang to fall madly in love with him. Typical narcissistic successful ML though, he doesn't want to admit he himself is in love and obsessed. Urgh
....woah I .. did not see that coming. I thought it would be like he's a stalker who has wormed his way into the little brother's life by deceiving his sister into a relationship. I didn't think I'd get such a hardhitting reality shot! That gave me a whiplash..!
Though this can't be the end and I suppose the story must go on to include some further interaction between the kid and the fraud. So I'm guessing it's a coercion and rape story. Either the kid will search for the fraud out of some sort of misplaced guilt, or they'll bump into each other???
How can he say he dropped any hints? Who would have taken any of them in any context that he assumed they qualified for!? Who would have been so presumptuous to read into those supposed "hints" as anything more than what our Ahn reasoned them to be -- just proper courtesies in a business relationship!
This imbecile. If director Kang wanted Ahn to approach him then he should have done it himself! What's with this ego play where he needs the other person to come to him first! You're the one who set the condition first, how can you expect others to not respect it and abide by it? You set the condition, you should have been the one to request to lift it! Not our beloved Ahn who simply did not want to disrespect this condition they both agreed to, and who did not want to jeopardize the working environment!
Kang needs to understand that while he is secure in his position and the status quo, Ahn has no such securities! Ahn is the leader of a small team that's here ON CONTRACT! How can Ahn possibly be expected to, in his right mind, be so bold and bypass basic premise of respect for their mutual decision!?
Ugh I'm so angry with Kang. I really don't get why Kang felt that it needed to be Ahn who had to make the first step. Just do it yourself, since you set the restriction there, and since you know you want to!
Eh, people aren't usually that blatant and daddy kang was just being flirty and playing. His reasoning made sense seeing how cinnamon Ahn, from his perspective, is a man experienced in seduction(considering he slept with him for work and seemed very upfront about wanting sex)
Humans aren't mind readers and I completely get why Kang had the misunderstanding he did. I'm also glad for a story with actually believable misunderstanding.

Uh did we get any answers as to why the ex suddenly broke up with her and mistreated her, and why he's done a full 180 now?
We don't know why he did that but we know why he did a 180. She wished for her boyfriend to be more assertive, more egoist, more like the ML in the novels she read ... (More like her her). Because the way he was acting, to her it meant he didn't care enough. At first the story told us the bf and ex switched personalities, so rn the ex is acting like a pushover like the bf was ... But idk it also feels like the story is hinting that it was always in them but they were suppressing it, now that part of them is taking control. If I have to guess, I'd say that for the first time he actually felt something when it was all games for him and run away cause he's a coward.
I meant (more like her EX)
