I know ppl think it's rushed especially with the farther letting him go so easily but I think he was waiting for his son to leave, he knew it was inevitable, so when it happened, it basically confirmed the answer for him, so I think very fitting, overall I loved the ending, if anymore, it would feel like it's dragging
