I like the story but a few things reallly pissed me off. 1. The FL need to gain more control over the males all the other females do but her. 2.i love curtis I do but he needs a fucken smack from FL he cant keep hurting parker! 3.where the hell is Avan an Winston! I realy liked them! Espechily winston. 4. The age gaps...Fl is 16 when she mates with curtis who is in his 40s! 5.mur was done dirty. 6. Again FL needs to step up and take charge and stop fucken lying to people when she knows they will take her seriously. 7.I would think the males would take more of a fatherly role i mean the WHOLE time they wanted to reproduce but the moment she gives birth its like "little shits" "get loss!" Like come on!
I think Parker is an ok dad compared to Custis because he is a mammal and most snakes are independent when they are born. The FL lead should take more control before she gets crushed.

I agree. Parker is a great dad compared to Curtis. Lol Just thinking of Curtis throwing that basket full of his kids, still makes me cringe. Also I think Parker realizes that fatherhood isn't as glamorous as he originally thought it would be. I mean kids can be annoying
Curtis actually has a soft spot for the cubs and tends to treat them more kindly than Parker does. The cubs are Curtis' favorite children as far as I can tell. Parker is pretty harsh in his parenting role and teaching them to grow up quickly. Bai also babies the cubs much more than would normally happen if she were a female actually from here.

Honestly, I'd still like her to end up accepting Muir, Alva, Winston, and Bluepool. Her life would become much safer with having multiple male partners. I even liked the idea of Harvey (the medicine leopard) and Shuu (the wolf) ending up with her, but it didn't happen... Would it really be all that strange for her to have 8 partners, especially with how much emphasis is put on how beautiful, clever, etc she is??? If anything, that's still a ridiculously small number of partners by that world's standards... Just saying, if you use logic, in her situation I'd choose several good, strong, talented, and reliable partners. It's because they're all being so damn stubborn that they're always struggling so much.

Especially taking into account that the mermaid lady who is pretty much seen as equally beautiful in this world has or had about 100 male partners. I know her circumstances are a bit different, but still. By any account, Bai Qing Qing ought to have a lot more partners. Even if Curtis is extremely powerful, there's only so much he can do, especially when he's gone hibernating.
