the part of "he is gay, I am straight" is so annoying. Yeah, everyone can decide for themselves who and what they define themselves as. But this is on the author. I dunno if it's a Japanese situation to not be aware of the fact that you cannot be straight and desire a man. It makes you part of the rainbow squad. You fall somewhere on the spectrum. Pan, Bi etc. But definitely not straight. A straight man would not be able to get hard for a man ever. Though in my opinion, finding truly straight people is a rarity in reality, but like....hhhh

Right? It’s the most annoying part of BL stories, the authors can’t understand that you can’t be straight and have sex with another man! And they just think they have no sex drive or is „normal“ the longer you are together. Maybe ar some point cannot hold it in and start seeing men in secret, but they don’t feel anything for women. Mature Genre Tag = Stories for mature audiences, often meaning the stories are REALISTIC and not telenovela-like.

Gurl, when i said superficial, I didn't mean the (second time) they had sex. (First time was rape.). I meant the story itself. I am waiting as well. But I just made a comment on how it is NOW. This was not a prognosis for the whole story. Just about the first two chapters. I hope it fleshes out more and we get to know more about them, see them connect more and get more of a story. Right now I love how they look, especially Tengu, but I cannot relate, cause we got barely any info about the characters to understand and be able to relate to them.
I love the art so much actually, I wish this would be like at least 50+ chapter long story. Then it would make sense why it is slow. But I know it is one of those short 6 chapter things, which is why I wished there was more...
I was refering to the overall story. There is plenty happening in the story tbh, him getting demoted/transferred, monologuing about stuff and meeting a stranger he goes along with.
As I mentioned elsewhere, this is a mature story. They are NOT action or drama packed, they tend to be realistic and have the pace set accordingly. So him being transferred, monologueing AND having a one-night stand sorta meeting is VERY normal paced or even fast for the fact it has only happened in 1 chapter.
Not every story with the mature tag will have lots of impressive stuff happening. It IS a tag for mature audiences and is often similar to slice of life, just with less boredom in it since it does tend to have an interesting plot.
2 chapters is barely an introduction, mind you. We only got the premise and character personalities introduced. The story you might be looking for is them getting to know each other and falling in love, likely the MC deciding what his future job will be too (maybe also some mafia shennanigans to give some upstir). So far, there is really not much to judge.
If it's superficial to you that people have a one night stand and meet after that again, then that's simply based on taste, because most people don't really mind this as it is normal that characters start interacting based on a chance encounter.
(Also, not all stories will bother making an effort for you to relate to them. You either like a person as they are or not. And there are plenty people who like Tengu's type of mafia character, they are VERY beloved in general unless they turn unhinged.)
Pretty sure this just boils down to the plot being not your thing due to the mature tag factor and realism.

The weird shape of the dicks in his fantasies and his own dick. I ignored how their body shapes changed all the time. How disproportionate things sometimes were. They're weird tongues and kissing. And how he once was like "his Tonge almost touched my throat" and I was like...what the fuck you meaaaan????? In what world? Unless he is one of those rare people with a mutated tongue that is like ginormous. Anyway. Or they're weird nipples. Then this dude goes and has a schlong. Like ok. We got used to authors making seems have giant schlongs. This author feels like she is saying 'the bigger the better. if theirs has one that big, imma make mine even bigger." Like what the fuck hahaha put a whole cold water on the tension that was building in the background add: I ignored it before, because it was not that big of a deal, and the art was mainly beautiful and the story was good.

I almost spit out my mogu mogu....before it was just little like "hm" moments, that I just put away to continue with the story and break my flow as I was binging this, then I saw that dick and I was like...I couldn't stop the flow from self destructing....like why man...I don't mind. you are saying what we are all thinking. In my personal comments I have a whole essay about exactly this. I found the slightly skinnier than normal necks in the beginning of the webtoon way more palatable than some of these raging seme necks going on. And I seriously doubt this artist knows what inverted nipples are... unless its just in relation to the uncomfortably protruding nipples of MC. It's the bulbous shape of the dick heads that makes them so comical to look at. I agree it kills the whole mood and the story and concept and excecution of everything else was so nice TAT.

then I just started reading it. Though it has some potholes here and there, it was so so good if you ignore them. It was amazing as hell. Everything feels so authentic, especially the characters. I felt for everyone and they grew on me so much. Wow man. This is masterfully written!!!
I recommend you the movie "the whale". Is with a very famous actor, who was sa'd in real life by some Hollywood bigwig and spiralled down into depression and ptsd because of all the shit he went through after that. It's his amazing cameo, where he plays an obese man with issues.
Gist and a mini spoiler of the story is, that he is someone who came out gay later in life and divorced his wife. He found a lover and they were super happy and lived together. But his lover had deeeeeeep religious trauma. So this dude went and committed suicide, because of all the religious indoctrination that was eating him from inside, while he was with his lover. Like this contrast of him loving this man so much, versus the shit he grew up with hearing all his life, it destroyed his mind. Is so sad. And not a one time thing.
