He keeps on defending his people (which I understand) but he should also realize that defending those who should be held accountable is very unfair to the other party! And the reason being that you're close to them?! what about those people that rai care about? so it's alright for your people to attack but won't allow the other party to return the favor? so if one of rai's people die because of your clan rai's should not take offense?! bitch die together with them you no good of a leader.

It's been years since I read this, but I read this comment at was like "yes! that!" Because while I sympathize with Muzaka and all he ends up going through I just can't help but feel like his failure in leadership and flat neglect of his duty was a major factor in his downfall. I'm not saying it is an easy job of course, but the guy fucks off to nowhere, leaving the werewolves to govern themselves, and then when they basically do without him (because he's a shit ruler) he's like "oh, I guess I should step up to defend their actions now". but with such perfect endings side stories indeed are not necessary but it really makes you long to see their life after the happy ending and it's so bittersweet that we only get to have till the ending I really wanted to see more of how they handle their circumstances
