You definitely checked the wrong shojos my dear. Ive spent 8 years of my life getting addicted to shojou (everything changed when yaoi attacked), puregold ones. You just have to pick the right masterpieces coz wrong click could definitely make you vomit your stomach out lol.

I’m sorry but I hated maid to mother the mc was way too girly and she looked like she could from a single punch. She also fell in love to easily, when she promised herself she wouldn’t. I like that she has maternal instincts and all, but, I would have liked it if she was more badass. Frail and girly is almost every girl in a Shoujo, no lie.
my issues were every other chapter was "stay with me lily"
and allllllllllllllll the time lily was like "oooooh his voice" like bruh get over it its been 16 years and he was your cousin, you literally only kissed twice you freak
also child is too good and seems to lack trauma that she should probs have
also everyone always asks the same questions, everytime they meet a new character its the same routine of aren't you scared, then like noo I accept you for you
also conflicts get resolved wayyyy too easily, like cmon your brother asked you why were you even born and youre being weird and wishy washy whats wrong with you
also every chapters is about marriage
everything is so trash honestly

ive only read 4 stories (10 chapters total) today and ive had attempted rape from the mc's stepmother's evil accomplice, some character blew a huge crater in the ground in a story about a father and daughter, some bullshit plot where the emperor literally just took the queen's whole free will and killed her nanny then turned to his concubine and was like you got some blood splatter, a wolf growing venomous fangs of a reptile
like wtf I barely woke up and all the stories are on crack, when will good things happen
edit: 12 year old just killed a grown man, vampire priest just yeeted a carriage off a cliff

Like in comedy, fine I guess even if the flow of the read breaks comedy isn't that serious so its ok but like here I am reading a high tension scene or just a serious story and look under the panel and read some comment from the typesetter insulting one of the characters in the scene breaking the whole flow and tension and anything I was feeling with their stupid comment, like why would you put a "funny" comment there while the characters are arguing I am so done I can't anymore.

i never read any mangas that the translators decide to put "joke" but thats will be so frustrating
its happens a lot in formats with widely spaced panels like manhwa
I remember reading this manga where the whole panel was filled with the translator's hate notes towards the character in the manga. Like ok we get it, you hate the character, it's fine (the character was a bit irritating I admit). One time is fine, but if you put hate notes on every pages, come on. Because believe it or not nobody forces you to translate the manga, and it's probably better to stop translating altogether - surely that's better for you! We want to read the author's creation, not your out of context, hateful notes.
But those t/n that explains and elaborates stuff i.e. idioms, puns etc, now that we need the most. You are our hero!
