My predictions:
The best friend is actually obsessed with controlling MC and will call it love or say he just has his best interest at heart. The dominant omega actually likes MC and the best friend started dating him to stop him from getting involved with MC. Best friend won’t tell him the truth until MC starts having a more apparent romantic relationship with the ML.

Maybe it’s the translation but why the f is he only calling him Mr. Guide instead of his actual name especially when they’re literally having sex. It’s so impersonal it’s kinda pissing me off lol
When I have said this here multiple times that make things so much worse, dehumanizing MC, especially in intimate moments. There is no good reason or valid excuse for that.
Someone said that in officials ML is using MC's name... But when you read pure MTL, it always translates it to Guide or Mr. Guide, and this is one thing that MTL can't be wrong at.
So officials might have fucked it up, or depending on situation in officials, I haven't checked... MTL just keep showing it always being Guide or Mr. Guide when name would matter.
PS. Even if it's a fake name or something... It's a name MC is currently using, and it should be respected as his name.
cultural difference. in the raw he's calling him "guide-nim" which directly translates to mr guide. in korea, however, it's common and polite to call a coworker with title-nim if you're not close or in a professional setting. in the raw, ml also exclusively speaks in jondaemal/formal language, so it's not weird at all for him to call mc by guide-nim or mr guide. don't push western standard on a manhwa that's clearly rooted in korean culture
Hi Mr. Savior in a white imaginary high horse!
Then please explain to me, why ML demands and manipulates MC to call him by name - no titles, not just last name, and no mr/nim - especially in the intimate setting middle of the sex, but still keeps calling MC a guide? Is that also part of the Korean culture, since you're an expert?
