I was pissed before, but their collective unwillingness to treat her as a competent adult is now aiding her abusive father in manipulating her. I'm so fucking mad. None of these people deserve Maxi, and it's only a need to her saved from him that prevents me from dropping this.
Then it's probably best to drop it after the end of Book one, which is fast approaching. Book 2 isn't any better, in fact, I'm willing to say it's a lot worse. Idk if season 5 will cover the end of Book 1 as well, but just know that we're reaching the end of the first arc.

To be fair atm she is actually recovering from almost dying and unbeknownst to her the loss of her child. Though it really bothers me that she was not informed about the baby and it's horrible how she finds out. But yeah she is actually unwell atm and in need of rest.
I appreciate Evie for staying consistent and always making sure to emphasize that Michael is a person and not a thing and therefore can't be treated like one, even in situations like this where nothing would have come from it if she had gone along.

Bellesac may be an unpleasant little asshole but being murdered in Astana's (and Perez as the actual mastermind) place is too far. He hasn't really done anything beyond being bully as pre-teen. Watching him die would leave a bad taste in my mouth.

While I do find this relationship really rushed, I do appreciate that it seems to be based on a mutual soothing of insecurities and need for the other. And Hidayat's desire to go back to the country he considers home over the place that should have been his home and then treated him poorly. I understand this relationship even if I don't particularly ship it because of the pacing.
