Dude, there was a classier moment for that confession...
Her having to run around in an attempt to guarantee he wouldn't be SAed is nauseating. I hope the other two are able to evade unwanted advances.
I was pissed before, but their collective unwillingness to treat her as a competent adult is now aiding her abusive father in manipulating her. I'm so fucking mad. None of these people deserve Maxi, and it's only a need to her saved from him that prevents me from dropping this.
I'm so annoyed on Maxi's behalf, even now they treat her like a child that needs to be managed and not a competent adult that has proven herself over and over again.
I appreciate Evie for staying consistent and always making sure to emphasize that Michael is a person and not a thing and therefore can't be treated like one, even in situations like this where nothing would have come from it if she had gone along.
What is wrong with the empress' eyes ? Why is there no light ? She looks hollow, it's so creepy.
Bellesac may be an unpleasant little asshole but being murdered in Astana's (and Perez as the actual mastermind) place is too far. He hasn't really done anything beyond being bully as pre-teen. Watching him die would leave a bad taste in my mouth.
Sapphic OG's getting a new life together, nice. That's way better than Reese rotting in a convent for the author's crimes. I like it.
While I do find this relationship really rushed, I do appreciate that it seems to be based on a mutual soothing of insecurities and need for the other. And Hidayat's desire to go back to the country he considers home over the place that should have been his home and then treated him poorly. I understand this relationship even if I don't particularly ship it because of the pacing.
Don't worry Sir Sloan, we're working on getting you an imperial family worth your good nature, just give us a minute...
Did they just imply that emperor murdered his dad and got away with it ? Was that part of the lore and I just forgot because it's been running for so long ?
And another author miserably flops the ending. What is this ? Did they honestly think this twist would be good ? The original idea of 2 people isekaing and teaming up was so good. A shame it got sidelined by this nonsense...
I swear if Lloyd's assistant that had weird religious discussions with Elena is the god of that universe... I will be really pissed off because that whole subplot added nothing and just wasted our time.
Rosetta's intelligence level is confusing. Cutting out the tong of the maid you use to poison the king with a poison no one could have found a cure for instead of killing her ? Hiding the poison instead of getting rid of it ? Seducing the prince and the maids effortlessly ? Reveal how two faced you are within seconds of meeting your greatest threat who was extending you an olive branch ? Successfully framing people ? Successfully bombing buildings in a way that can't be connected to you ?
Are you stupid or not ? The constant back in forth on her capabilities is jarring... And cheapens the plot.
Having a loving and supportive family is good and all... when they step up. Why are they just standing there ? They don't know she's going through a self-confidence arc, she didn't tell them to stand down and Claris implied she (Balua) was crashing the party. Kick her bitchy ass out, don't just glare.
We get it. These men have no autonomy and serve their owners in a sexual manner. It's a common knowledge fact in that universe that no one dares contest out loud. There is no reason to flaunt any of that by denying them functional shirts. It's so unnecessarily demeaning.
That virtually everyone is asking for spoilers instead of acknowledging Sayong's answer of "Who knows" to the dating question before threatening murder should his secretary not be returned upsets me. Squee and giggle with me damnit !
I'm not one to criticize art changes, frankly I usually don't notice, but this is getting ridiculous. Their heads are getting so pointy they're starting to look deformed. Why ? Just why ? And could someone tell the artist, they clearly have talent, surely they coud fix this if someone sat them down.
