'A trace of the wonder'-- story mostly about action but also about mc dealing with death too and survivors guilt
'Homeless/no home'-- this is a mix of stuff, but one of the theme is processing grief too
'Three days of happiness'-- doesn't quite fit the theme, but you could say it's a loss of will of life, it's a hopeful work
'Happy birthday'-- might be slightly controversial work
'Knitting corner'-- loss of family and healing
'Mother I'm sorry'--small part of story deals with grief but it's a good story
'Fukyagaku-sei no Himawari'-- it's supernatural, but also deals with death

yes there’s an anime adapation of 8 short episodes that basically just tells the story again up till chapter 24 I think of the manga with minor changes while still including the original sex scenes (uncensored version with the dub ftw)
there’s also the recent live action adaptation as well if you like drama’s since it’s pretty loyal to the source material

It a manga that came out a bit ago about a crew of pirates “stole” this mermaid. Like he technically wasnt a mermaid but he had really rare features (i think like white hair and smth else) and was treated like treasure by the people who had him before.
I cant remember too much since its been so long but I do remember the crew treating the mermaid like family and the captain lowkey always being represented as an old/grumpy bear.
