Why does most Chinese manhua have this bad pacing and characters?
The characters are really one diamentional. There is no depth at all.
And the story has no build up. Every scene is so dramatic and hysterical. It's like watching those stereotypical Indian soap opera in comic form.
I'm not trying to generalize but it happens in 80% manhua I have read. Just curious what makes such story writing popular in manhua.

I have no idea either. I guess they just think it's safer to copy from others then make their own unique content. That's also why I always avoid Chinese manhua with love interests, It's cause girls are annoying and there is always harem in them :/
