anyway, the plot tldr is that the mc in the real world read the novel the ml is from and.. ml in the novel originally is the villain but for many valid fucked up reasons
(genuine tw in regards to chapter 1 if you’re sensitive to seeing a literal child go through some pretty fucking inhumane situations among other things)
as a result of seeing his fate and what he endured, the mc in the real world felt so horrible for him that she cried and promised she would save him and is then unexpectedly summoned right into the book
the catch? the character she’s now possessed is actually the ‘younger’ twin sister of the novels actual mc (aka the older annoying ass sister) who in the original book mc in the real world read is supposed to be who the ml originally loves
but now ‘she’ aka the mc from the real world is the true love interest of ml’s, and is determined to save him from his original doomed fate, not giving a shit about her own as long as he’s safe and happy
I also wanna recommend problematic prince but genuinely the ml is such a snake up until the latest season aka when a pretty emotionally fragile and deeply traumatized mc finally leaves his ass and he realizes he misses her and decides to finally go get her back aka grovelling and slowly realizing he’s the one who majorly fucked up since day 1, not her

A new reader who enjoyed a story from 2025 may not be a fan of a story from 2021, so they leave their dislike. That's not exactly weak minded or loving to complain, they just view the content differently according to different times.
Take for example Super Lovers. It was popular enough to get 2 seasons of anime. That's a 2010s manga where 2010s fans enjoyed. But recently majority of people can agree that story is pedo. Different times, different opinions. That's to be expected.
I can see how it could be labeled as pedo cus of the big age difference one was 10 or younger the other close to 20 or above .
