What did I even read?? Like this was pretty good in the beginning and the story ain't bad but like..... What's up with the villains acting like they all got plot armour? Some of this shit doesn't even make sense. And Ml, you're a freaking Duke,, why is it so had to catch a mistresses son who doesn't really have power? Why are all their plans just so idiotic? I can't even. Plus Fl, you got transmigrated even though you're being treated like trash, it's not even going with the original story anymore. All this misunderstandings between them is getting annoying. She needs to grow a pair and become more confident. And nearly 40 chapters in there are no signs that she's gonna be. Imma just drop this cause reading it might destroy my brain cells too
So this is a very realistic murim manga considering that the characters are being true to their emotions. He's been on the battlefield ever since he was a kid and it wasn't his choice
He had no common sense how the world works and just wants a normal life that people take for granted, he's just doing whatever he can to protect that and the the old cultivator knew the best way was for him to let go of his battlefield aura in order to keep his normal life safe in the future. Can't wait for more chapters to see how his rivalry with keshik with end
If you don't like the story just stop reading it. Like the whole story kept on saying that Jules isn't human so why is everyone expecting human emotions from a non-human character??? He's part dragon and he remembers his mother didn't love him from birth. Imagine growing up all your life being called a monster not even get a chance to forget your childhood memories.
Dragons have hordes and they keep things they like, it's a good story showing that he's trying to keep Haven who is Ilian as part of his horde. I'm not saying the way he's going about it is right but that's from a humans perspective. It's better to just wait for season too and see how it goes, it's not like Jules doesn't want to change. We've already seen he can If he tries.

Not gonna lie I like this manhwa but I just wished we could see her fight scenes, that's my only downside of this
This manga hit too close to home ┗( T﹏T )┛ it's got me crying already cause this is just how fucked up reality is. And honestly it's a real struggle holding it in and not coming out. It makes you hate yourself cause you feel like you're hiding a part of you from your friends and the people you love but then the fear of getting rejected just piles up on top of it. I just wish the world could just finally accept the lgbtqia+ community and let us just have a family and get married if we want to without being ostracized from society for being different

so from the title of the novel they did show us the fl's demure husband, him being all lovely dovey and shit. but some plot holes just leave me wondering, like if he was planning to fool her why sign their marriage certificates with his real name? how didn't she notice for a whole year until their anniversary? and then we go to the hidden compartment which conviniently had her info hidden. honestly if i was planning a fake marriage murder i wouldn't keep evidence in the house but thats just me. so why is it after he realised his plan wasn't working out for killing her on their anniversary why don't we see any attempts? all she does is get anxious all the time, which the ml should have noticed. if my partner started distancing themselves i'd notice if they were being that obvious. plus this is someone who has been watching the fl their entire time together and you mean when she just found out who he is now she can start scheeming behind his back and he hasn't even nearly caught her once? fine we can say ginger has been helping but how? how's a new hire blocking info from all the people he's had on her since day one? like the whole premise for the story is quite nice but i can't really feel the characters emotions or personality other than their broadly defined behaviours. don't get me wrong her whole escape plan is good it's just the surrounding context and story just isn't doing it for me. i'll let it marinate a bit more and see how it plays out for her running away and what happens after that, but as for now these are my thoughts.
