i genuinely cannot put my feeelings for this manhwa into words, but i'll try. it's been 6 years since i've first read dark heaven, i grew up, the world has changed but the impact this manhwa left on me hasn't. the storytelling and character building comes second to none and is just so captivating. with the rise of right wing ideology the topics covered in the story are as prevelant as ever. if you haven't read it yet, dark heaven has to be one of the best bl stories i've ever read and tells a beautiful yet heartbreaking story of love in a world full of hate.

No hes very interesting as a character and ofc i hate him as a person but very very entertaining to read him in the story. Out of all the characters he definitely has the most complex uhhhh idk what the word is

Obviously it seems like that cause he's the main antagonist and antagonists are supposed to move the story along. that doesn't make him the most complex and i know there are a lot of people reading this for their cheating kink so mincheol has a lot of fans and im gonna get hate but idc that's my truth

Its more like ive read probably thousands of stories and usually the villain has rarely made me feel like “wtf is this real how does a person change like that. What went wrong. I need to understand this because I would devastate me if my partner changed like that”
And then you reflect about his circumstances and how his debt and everything leaving his wife being the only thing he thought he could control. But controlling another person especially your partner never results in anything great. Its understandable but not excused.
