manhua artists drawing black peoples hands correctly for once>>>>>>>>>>>
no cuz yall have no idea how many times ive clocked the entirely brown palm on dark skin characters in manga, BL especially. i can prolly count on one hand how many times ive seen a black person with accurately drawn palms and foot soles lmao like tell me you've never met a knee grow in real life without telling me
i am liking this backstory for miyai! def resonates as a smart neurospicy kid who was VERY bored in school and didnt perform "well" because of it. im glad miyai met someone who was able to inspire him to connect with his intelligence and revive his interests! i would prefer this to be an innocent "first love that triggered character development" type of story that doesnt go anywhere rather than anything actually happening between the two of them tho :)
not tak getting mugged by his family im worried about him lol and im proud of him for being honest with himself, holding himself accountable for, and addressing the way he hurt sanho emotionally. i still think much work needs to be done by the entire bl community on consent culture tho cuz sanho is a victim lowkey and tak is def a perp. i hope the author doesn't skip over that aspect but i sincerely doubt they won't
i would have enjoyed this more if they were in college. all this foolishness and trash communication at their big age??? girl ...
but since it happened this way im glad it got to the point of brutal honesty forcing them to take a break until they could talk it out. i feel like Ritsu hasn't learned anything fr and is still traumatized and poor communicator and partner, hes just fortunate enough to have a friend who knows all his business and can cover for him lmao
cakeverse is tewww much
