I like him but the way he acts towards Maxi is not going to help her at ALL. He is just treating her like an object and I feel bad for Maxi. I know Riftan has his own troubles and it's medieval times and he does clearly care about Maxi so I still like him but he needs to chill the f out.

In the novel it’s because everyone was told by her father that she’s fragile and was always sick. He doesn’t want her to over exert herself. Also, he’s only been in love with her since he was 12. But he pisses me off bcus of his inferiority complex.
In what way does he treat her like an object you have to remember this is different times you can’t look at it from a point of view from this century it just don’t work also the knowledge he has of her is only what he’s heard from other people and the lies her family told just like the conversation they just had he doesn’t know the real her so he can’t treat her any way else he treats her according to what he knows and how she acts. She hasn’t told him anything about her past and is only now telling him the things she likes treating her with over protectiveness or with extra care isn’t objectifying her

That's why I said I still like him because I know he doesn't know everything and I know he's gonna chill out in the future. I just find he's treating her like a fragile vase and I personally don't like that. I know it's in a different time period so that's why I still enjoy the story and like Riftan because that's just how it was back then but it is also a comic so usually the main characters show some modern aspects. It's not like this comic is trying to 100% medieval accurate it's a comic about a love story and if people in the comic can see how it's a weird the way he treats her sometimes then I think it's enough for me to dislike it.

No I definitely hate this story the uke fell in love with someone who murdered their best friend and made their own life shit for awhile. I really wanted the Uke to get revenge and not let the bastard seme get what he wants. In the end tho I can understand why people liked this story and it was an interesting read.
So like I LIKE the seme because I know he has potential but he is being such a little bitch. I hope he learns and grows once they get together or once the uke tells him how much of a bitch he’s being.

I LIKE this manga but I feel like some of the conflict is weird like I feel like there was a better way and reason to make the father hate his daughter the way he does. I also think there should’ve been a better way to make the ML the way he was in the past because we are supposed to like him in the end but nothing from his past is doing that. I do like this story but there is just some areas where I personally think could’ve been done better.
Truly I wouldn’t mind if he got with his ex or mr ceo they both have done shitty things to him. Genuinely I won’t kind either way I just hate the new boyfriend dude for what he did.
nuh-uh, his ex is a closed book in his life that he needs to move on from yes they both have done wrong things but the ex was so cold and cruel to him right when he got out of the hospital and the ex ignored the heartbreak he was going through since to him it hasn't been 5 years at all. They shouldn't get back together it wouldn't benefit either of them, yes I will admit the ex hurt so much in the time MC was in a coma and their relationship needed to take a path and the ex chose to end it and now he must deal with the choice he made and the relationship he is now committed to not now regret his choice and want the MC to come back to him like how the MC wanted in the beginning especially since the MC is finally moving on in his life not with someone new but with him self and self-healing.
The whole reason the Ex got into a whole new relationship wasn’t really over free will of “I need to move on”. (I’m not gonna elaborate further unless you want a spoiler) The ex was very messed up by the way he first reacted and shouldn’t get a pass for it but it’s a reaction he regrets and realizes he was wrong. I agree that the best option would be for them to just move on but like I said in my opinion I also feel like it wouldn’t be terrible if they got back together it just isn’t the best option. The Ex and mc both still have feelings for each other and are both struggling right now while the CEO is being just as much of an ass as the next guy. So really I’m changing my first comment I hope the MC chooses the path he wants and thinks is right. Wether it be with either guy or on his own.

Anyway in the older chapters it was revealed that the way the exes relationship started with his now boyfriend was from the ex thinking he forced his now bf to have sex. The Ex felt terrible but his now bf never told him that nothing was forced he just rolled with it. This leaded to them dating because the ex did it out of regret, guilt and sadness. So he wasn’t FORCED but he was manipulated into a relationship because his now bf didn’t tell him the truth and just kept telling him he loves him and wants to be with him. The Ex was wrong to do that because he was never over the mc and still isn’t but he thought dating his now boyfriend would fix his guilt and loneliness. You made good points about them finally going separate ways I just feel like maybe the mc shouldn’t end up with anyone right now tho lol both his ex and the ceo are kind of dicks. I won’t mind either way tho. ***What I’m about to say may or may not be a spoiler***but I forget if I heard this from a person or in the story but I’m pretty sure the exes bf knew where the mc was and didn’t tell the Ex.
