I'm a bit confused about the good rating this manga has. I tried to give it a chance but I really don't have the energy to read further after chapter 10. Like there's no depth to this whatsoever and the mc is so bland.

Like at the start he never even questions once where the blue quest screens come from or why they are there. Or even why he regressed. Like nothing???

And everything just goes way too easy for him. His inner dialogue states that he needs something and the next moment it happens. He needs loyal people who support him? 'poof' someone who admires him pops up. He needs to get rid of his bad reputation? 'poof' he gets invited to an event where he can prove himself. It's actually do boring because you know what will happen.

And everyone says that he's oh so talented but it's so unbelievable. Like where was his smartness and talent in his previous life? He lost to his first sword instructor there after so many years of bad training. But now he could easily kill him with a bit of help from the system after like a week? If he was so talented I feel like he could probably have figured out how to kill him in his old life...

Is this worth it to read further? Like is there actually a reason behind the system helping him or is it just magically there to make him strong for no reason? Will there be more world building explanations?

TLDR: Stopped reading after chapter 10 because it's boring. Does the writing get better?

The blacked out Mugo sitting in the home is probably the trauma holder for the other Mugo's. Maybe he's sort of protecting the others from the information of all the bad stuff that happened so the others are able to function normally. I assume they'll all merge into the future.

That fight was so unsatisfying. Him surviving through dumb luck is getting tiring. It was funny the first few times but now it's just getting boring. I was looking forward to see how he would beat the golem for it to just end up dumbly tripping over him.

Fight scenes are so plain because you just know he will survive through dumb luck. I want to see him using his brain :')

Even the reactions of the side characters upon him 'defeating' the golem are unsatisfying because it's a reaction to something he actually didn't do. So it just feels fake.

The manga is overall really good and fun to read but the amount of times he survives because of stupid shit is getting too much. Or everyone thinking he's amazing because of what he said when he didn't mean anything with it is so annoying. I would find his character way more interesting if he actually thought of all that inspirational stuff he says to the side characters himself. Idk.

I think further on in the story, blondie is going the kill the main protagonist's dad. They're kind of foreshadowing it??

Blondie is looking for a place to kill someone and was literally playing around with a knife.

And the protagonist now has multiple times said that he wants his father dead, that he's better of dead etc. over and over again...

I also wonder if Blondie saw mc getting abused as a child. Because in the first chapter it seems like someone was watching through a door how mc got hit. And maybe blondie is looking for that place now?

I love and hate how there's never a highlight drawn in the ml's eyes. It's so unsettling

I feel like the art style got even better! Ian looked so crisp and pretty in those last panels

I honestly don't get why most comments are so positive about this work. Can someone explain what makes this manga good?

I tried liking it but it's just so over the place and the most random things suddenly happen. The characters feel flat and it feels so weirdly paced. Maybe it's the translation? I do like the little info panels at the end though. And the mc is cute :)
