No, same, I'm so onboard on reading this until I've turned into a prune, but given the state of how the world is going, we might not even reach the ending, so I'm keeping the light novel on the back burner just in case. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

If you're referring to Loriena, she's a homunculus. She's basically the Minancy test tube baby. Eye color, magic, politeness, all artificial/alchemy.
Grey eyes might be a side effect of her running out of mana, since her eye color is reliant on that too, since, well, magical test tube baby runs on mana, go figure.
