It was in a spoiler on this same website, it was a few weeks ago. I had dropped it thinking that that was the outcome, but sometimes I check how it's going.
Ppl are commenting on how the art style changed and its too ugly to read. I admit that it went downhill, taking shortcuts with details and whatnot but I can't say I agree with the "too" ugly. I do sort of mind the art but I'll get used to it. I like the storyline so far, it's different from what I've read recently so I rather have this than nothing at all. If they dropped it I would be annoyed af regardless of art style. IDK thats my opinion, to each their own ig. Sorry for my little rant. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

If you're referring to Loriena, she's a homunculus. She's basically the Minancy test tube baby. Eye color, magic, politeness, all artificial/alchemy.
Grey eyes might be a side effect of her running out of mana, since her eye color is reliant on that too, since, well, magical test tube baby runs on mana, go figure.
