if im right, then rogers seems to be a sort of demon living in an already dead(?) body, watching over the otis for years. i assume he was the one to make a contract (tempation) with rick otis for a substantial amount of wealth and help with building the rose estate (greed), for their lineage was cursed. it seems like he acts as a butler towards the house to monitor and act as surveillance towards the members of otis to ensure that they are continuing to suffer for their sins. i also believe the twins are dead and that their likeness was revived by the curse (stuck at 9 physically but should 12 )as a means to torment the remaining members of otis, the mother who loved them so much and their older brother because they know that that is not their family anymore but the roses (the things). driving their mother mad with grief and succuming to the curse. it seems roger especially is targetting allan as he is the only member of otis who is still mentally strong and not held miserable by the curse due to being dettached as to not get the things he cares about taken away by rogers and the curse. rogers seemed to only care about continuing the curse through allan (his child not being one of his toys) bcs hes the only heir left (twins cant grow due to death) but seems to taken interest in richelle bcs she smart and has similar circumstances to the otis family (money) yet shes not selfish unlike rick who started the curse. i think it was rogers that sent her mother the flowers in guise of richelle sending them (cherishing them bcs she was looking forwards to fixing their relationship) and had her killed to isolate richelle from outside attachments and make it easier for her to open up to him and remain by his side after the year is up

hmmm now that ive actually read the chapters i could possibly see a cohabitiation of souls within yises body but also potentially moving on after getting revenge and having yise assimilate to the new life hes been given bcs when i started this i thought it was going to be like an unlimited flow type where he would move on and potentially take over another body of a failed idol etc..
