so i read spoilers and this story is absolutely crazy. its not a harem. girl eventually becomes as obsessed with the mc, and confesses to him, but mc is creeped out. girl rapes him. he gets in a car accident and is rendered into a coma. when he wakes up he finds the girl pregnant with his baby, so he resigns to his fate and accepts her love. the female teacher is apparently sold to a bdsm guy and has a mindbreak.

yeah, i got this from a reddit thread, which prompted my interest in the story. apparently, the mc became disgusted with how different the girl is from his 'ideal woman' aka damsel in distress, but all the events leading to the rape and car accident mentally drained him, so he just accepted his fate. he was the one who sold the female teacher btw, and she is kept in a bdsm dungeon for half a year.
yes those things happened. but they should've read more before dropping that review. there is a deeper reason why mc was chosen to repent for his sins. and he will learn that much later. the mc's backstory gives a lot of insight as to why he seems to resent his father. the father is far from perfect, maybe incompetent, but whether or not he deserves condemnation is beside the point. their estrangement is simply part of mc's chara arc, which ties to one of the major themes of the story, which is that all, if not most, humans are capable of repentence, despite their flaws, and we can choose to forgive them. mc included.
that rape scene of the goddess of love and raoul was severely uncomfortable to read. to the point i wonder if the author experienced this sort of thing and is projecting his resentment

is eve mentioned in the LN? since she was loyal to clayman, i wonder what is her role in the main story after he died
that's some weird leap of logic to lure the ml to "rape" her when she could've gone directly to his father and pleaded to remove his son... also the child feel more like a plot device to force mc to tolerate ml's presence in her home... is this all kids in this trope amount to? i was kinda hoping mc will reveal some distress to the kid, and the kid will side with her and agree to kick the ml out or smth.

Most times, the parent and child having a unique bond, that let's the ML identify them as theirs and as a way to insert themselves back into the omega's life
