ngl i love the blonde war god design, even tho her outfit is definitely overtly sexual and revealing, but she looks so sexy, chic, and cool in it. loved her back then when i was in middle school, love her even now years later. ive seen other anime women in similar type of military-esque clothing, but she looks the best in it
i mean, the story already checks off all the other boxes of ur typical trashy toxic yaoi x 10 so I'm not sure how changing it from blood-related incest to pseudo-incest would make a difference in readership. like people who hate the incest trope, rape, abuse, etc aren't going to change their mind and read it just bc it's not "real" incest.
the 2nd ml was such a fly but i highkey love how pathetic he was. his good looks were saving him fr, he just looks so pretty when he cries. Does anyone know any stories with mc or ml with this exact pathetic bitch but manipulative personality (seems nice but really sheltered, and spirals when things dont do their way) and pretty looks? the redder the flag the better
gimme ur best two-faced bitches/bastards who seem nice and naive but are manipulative and creepy and obsessive. it's just exhilarating to see their mask crumble. could be mc, ml, villain. could even have romance with them (actually i prefer it)
so is this like actual harem or pseudo-harem with clear endgame ML
maybe it's bc im hungry and tired but I thought the redemption arc was good. the ml didnt OOC and retained his personality after rebirth and thro out second life's marriage with mc, so it felt more realistic, thus an actual story about growth, healing, and love, instead of emotional self-flagellation angst porn. personally i prefer heavier grovel, but it makes sense ml's character didnt do all that, bc it would've been selfish, the opposite of what he's trying to be for mc. it's understandble why mc would still be in love with ml, ml rectified everything that couldve gone on in the pivotal moments and helped mc as best he could, without expecting forgiveness or love. but i would say the story benefit a lot from dragging out the first life reveal (even tho it was really dragged out and i kinda got bored along the way), bc otherwise if mc had regained them early on before he fell for ml, it wouldn't have made any sense imo to get back together with ml in this life. ahd tbh, considering all the build up, the first life wasn't as bad as i assumed (like ive read worse MLs who didnt deserve any forgiveness)... and ml here is super green flag in second life, so it is harder to hold a grudge against him.
Why so serious?
can someone who has read the raws/spoilers tell me if the mc actually gets a satisfying revenge on ml so i dont waste my time reading this story for smth that never happens
any BL or GL with separation/reunion where the initially straight mc has a long one-sided enmity with the love interest bc they stole her/his bf/gf, but it turns out the LI was in love with them the whole time and was scared to express it? (smth like MURMER)
is there an alternate title for The Crown Princess Scandal here
idc if blondie is 2-faced and creepy, the contrast with his pure himbo energy is my guilty pleasure, so honestly idc. love characters like him. on the other hand, i dont mind if ml ends up with mc but i do need mc to take actual revenge on him bc thats the premise and the only reason im interested in the story
did bro really just leave her in the ferris wheel, knowing she was with his enemy, all bc he was so sad over the message, knowing it likely wasnt her who sent it

a man with a bright future ahead of him commits suicide, and his younger brother and his "best friend" deals with their grief in the form of taking a trip
hi is this completed yet? on a side note, i remember when i was in HS the locker next to mine had a collage of cut-out pictures from this series, i wanted to talk to the girl who the locker belonged to, but never had the courage ╥﹏╥
i dont really mind themes abt rape and i knew what i was getting into, but i just loathe a withering, physically and mentally delicate bottom who falls for the most superficial kindness and barely does anything in his trapped situation bc "oh he's just so helpless!", and eroticized rape that serves no narrative purpose other than smut. like the mc is suffering and being abused, genuinely WHY the fuck would i want to read several chapters of rapeporn between the victim and abuser. like the story clearly portrays the ml as a monster, and is obviously setting up some redemption (and hopefully grovel) arc, which makes me believe the author wants to explore a toxic, angsty, melodramatic relationship in a manner that doesnt sweep the abuse under the rug, but eroticizing the physical abasement of the mc for smut purposes imo diminishes the psychological gritty aspects of such a murky relationship and future progression. that said, im still interested in how the author can successfully redeem the motherfucker ml
im lowkey in awe of the author's ability to write such a despicable ml, but im looking forward to his grovel/suffering
when young shin witnesses his father kneeling as he receives the decree from the king, he sees this as the ideal picture of devotion between retainer and a good king, just like in the storybooks. however, his father is far away from him and his back is turned to him so he cant really see his face, which symbolizes his naivety and ignorance of the truth.
in the next scene when young shin witnesses his father working at night, their positions are closer and he's now able to see part of his tired face, implying that he's growing closer to the truth and reality of the relationship between his father and the king, and he is becoming aware that it's not idealistic and something is wrong.
when his father visits him and is kneeling down to tie his shoelaces, shin atp knows the king is bad. his father's kneeling represents not honorable loyalty, but helpless submission to the king and his authority, and even tho they are facing each other now, his father's averted gaze not daring to look up (whether out of guilt for his son or deference towards the king's possession) as he asks the question shows he knows what the king is doing to his son and his choice of turning a bling eye. his son knows that and that he knows that his son knows. tying his shoelaces while it shows his love, it also shows how insignificant and limited his ability to help his son.
stop reading this like 4 years ago and forgot how peak this story was
