But can someone tell me why Jean had to kill two of his colleagues? The knight and his lover? Like I saw the guillotine, but does it say why he had to off them?
I think it's explained in the novel. I only read excerpts from spoilers, but it was something like the man colleague's intentions slowly became corrupted, I don't know about the woman. I think Jean personally oversaw the man's beheading.

ah to be fair that makes sense considering he was the one who opposed the church idea earlier too, because he blamed the poor for their being poor alongside hating the aristocracy

True that, but I didn't expect them to be killed tbh, especially Chantelle (i forgot the spelling). I wish it was explained further because I was confused
One thing about revolution is that often its pioneers end up struck down by the very same blade they wielded. This manhwa is very obviously inspired by the French Revolution, I suggest you look up Robespierre, for example. His fate is similar to that of these two characters.
I dont know if we speak of the same story, but diamond dust is all but not a slow burn :D if you want a slow burn, i recommend you "virtual strangers" ;)
You're right by standard I would agree that this is not at all slow burn compared to damnei or Chinese bl novels cs they did went down pretty fast,,but thanks for the recommendation though :))

If the author makes hyesung forgive his mom I'm out. Instead it's Dojin and byul who should grovel on their feet in front of hyesung ughh. I have a feeling the author doesnt really like hyesung tht much
idk what flag he is but he’s still pure—he’s been through a lot thanks to his son of a bichtj brother. another spoiler: he’s ready to become the other man [he misunderstood that josh has someone alr]
He is a complete green flag, its just that he is scared and somewhat brainwashed by his own brother and family thats why he acts like that, but eventually he is such a green flag, he did it only with josh.

I believe he’s still somewhat a black flag? he’s such a menace, he’s only nice when it’s josh
When it comes to the partner I would be more concerned about Josh.lol Chase is greener than Josh. To everyone else: you saw how Chase is, but Josh is working on it.

Oh damn really??!! I really need to read the novel
Other than that time when he made Dan use all tht sex toys and exposed him to heesung w/out him knowing (ugh I'll never forgive jaekyung for that) he's quite pitiful for now,,,hopefully the author is not going to use the pitiful childhood backstory too much for the redemption arc
Let me have the big bro pleaseeee
