It's sad that it happens in real life too. One of my professors also (kinda) treats homosexuality like that. He sees it as a phase and that it will disappear at some point. It did made me and my friends angry but it's not as if we can scold(?) him. It sucks but we had no choice.
That's so sad. I really hope this kind of mindset changes in the future
