the way ai will 100% be getting things wrong. because each writer/mangaka/ director has their own way of writing, it won’t be able to pick up on puns, jokes, nuanced language, context, etc., to properly be able to create a quality piece of translation. as a result they will need to also hire more proof readers and editors, or more realistically, ......   1 reply

lack of diversity and exposure to people of colour can definitely cause this. it happens on a larger, more societal scale in asia because the countries are self-contained but it happens in other countries as well. minorities tend to form social bubbles with each other and then feel comfortable sharing sentiments with each other that they wouldn’t......   1 reply
