I see what you mean, but in Rashta's case I think its a problem of the writing failing to make the character compelling, not the audience reaction. I am a writer and graphic designer from the US and I've been working with the indie publishing industry for 5 years, but I've gotten really interested in webtoons since a couple of years ago and I wanted to try my hand at them. However, I'm not a good enough artist to take on the drawing part of it. I'm looking for an artist to collab on this project. That said, I don't expect the artist to do all the graphic work. I'm proficient in creating backgrounds, coloring, shading and drawing objects and clothes, I'm just not good with people and buildings. The same with the writing part. I'm confident on doing all the writing work but I would welcome any input my partner has about plot, characterization, etc. And before starting the two (or more) of us would have to agree on genre, characters, heat level, general plot and story, etc. I work from home so I have up to 30 hrs a week to dedicate to this project, and can do more if we manage to cram a successful product and become popular. I can't pay, nor I'm expecting to be paid for my time for this project. All the work would be done in a share-royalties model. The same way, before we publish we would sign a contract to divide all profits equally and discuss all expenses for promotion, publishing layout work, etc. I'll be happy to answer all the questions and other inquiries prospective partners may have, and also, if you are interested please post a sample of your art and a general idea of how much time you have available for this project.
