If other people like it, just respect. Just because it has rape/trauma/toxic seme—that's how the artist or writer wants it and our role is to read IF WE ONLY WANT IT. If not then don't read it. (I honestly wants to say that with all respect)

I agree. Like come on, it's a story, you can't expect every story to be just happy, rainbow and unicorn, I personally like these kind of stories because of possible character development but to each their own I guess.

Maybe be the author isn’t normalizing nor romanticizing rape and makes the uke strong and stand up for himself? The story is different from other stories that romanticize and normalize rape and such. It deserves its rate

That’s actually the point. It’s not like the typical plots we see very often so it makes the readers more into it. we just love all the twist and turns especially the surprises that’s in the story.

Mangago isn't really the right place to discuss this. Most if the people here normalize and romanticize these kinda stories. And most of them here are 15-16 year olds who are not supposed to read stuff like this.
A story with rape, is in the end, fiction, and it should be treated as such. That's why authors put warnings.

That doesnt make rape right, but as long as the reader can understand the difference between fiction and reality, it's okay to read.
I would suggest that people under the age of 18 shouldn't read.

Very true. We can’t do anything regarding the younger generation reading this content and it’s actually not our concern. It’s their parents responsibility. But I do agree that since they are young they are more prone to complain or misunderstand the “rape” scenes etc. because they don’t understand the plot. They think it’s always fluff and it’s not. Adults have more understanding but even adults complain in which at that point you can choose to just not read the story and keep scrolling versus make negative comments.

Well of course, I am not bashing on anyone who likes it, I’m literally just asking what am I missing and trying to get someone else’s perspectives.
