I wonder if Director Han Yeju knows something about what happened in the past when she requested for the lighting to be brought down low. When she said, “…so he doesn’t come crashing down this time..,” do you think she was simply acknowledging that JY is sensitive to bright lights, or was she implying something deeper than that?
I have some speculation about the director too. I think she is somehow involved in the drug scandal. Either she knows about what happened to JY and hid it or the agency is a facade for drug distribution and let the happy drug be circulated.
Right? That has to be the most plausible speculation.
However, I hate putting her in the same category as mf BJ, so I’m just going to settle on the idea that she knows something, but her hands are tied and she doesn’t have the power to do anything about it.

c8 and c24 is enough to make me believe she isn't in kahoots with dive +h100 but rather was an original sunshine ent staff, mainly 'cause she:
- was the one who recruited jy and a lot of the staff on OG sunshine's side worry about him (c25, c27)
- also worries about the lighting all the time (c27, c32)
- was rightfully suspicious of sm but convinced by sugyeom to take the collab (and we know sugyeom knows jy's predicament so i assume yeju does too (ch8)
- doesn't particularly get along with baek cheolmin (jun's uncle) and even considers her team a separate side to them/OG dive (c20)
- collab is moving along so there's no known sabotaging. 10billion says dive's side is being fussy but it might be 'cause yeju is worried about jy? (can't remember the exact ch or scene lol)
Good side it is, then! I remember Ayeong, the sound engineer from 10Billion, mentioning that Dive was throwing a fit over the distribution rights. I really hope Yeju wasn’t the one who set all of that in motion.

He’s obviously going back to Korea for the drug business but to also mess with jaeyoung which he still believes he has a hold on. I find it fascinating self important he is tho we still don’t know much about him as a character beyond his miserable arrogant self but does he think jaeyoung is still the same person he was in the past??? Maybe he expects jaeyoung to just have continued wasting away till he fucking died and he’d come in like the demon he is to dangle that drug in front of him as some form of salvation. Also him still being so comfortable assaulting ppl with that drug is beyond bizarre. He def hasn’t gotten his shit rocked in an hot minute and I need the author to give us this. He pisses me off bad bad. Also we def about to see seungmin being absolutely feral in a must protect my love unhinged way. Like he’s feral rn but tempered around jaeyoung coz he doesn’t wanna overwhelm him. All in all im excited for bitches to start getting their comeuppance. That cops probs dead tbh unfortunately for him
Totally love the style our author-nim put together for SM in this chapter. Notice that he confidently put JY’s clothes on like a boyfie would do. And that backwards cap makes him look more boyish than ever. Love, love, love!
And I just realised it wasn’t obvious to everyone that BJ was the one behind what happened to JY. Which totally explains why SM didn’t mention his name to Bo Kyeong (BK). Even giving him the nickname ghost due to all the wiped-out information tracing back to BJ.
So, BK and Dr. Shin eh (▰˘◡˘▰) I wonder how far back did they go together.
