im so tired of seeing every family drama in manga ending up with the character going i gotta face them. like what about you just dont??? i understand in those situations you just cant cut off talking with them but he doesnt even live with them anyways, he can just keep the communication to min. He can see his mother by meeting outside too he doesnt have to go to the house at all cz he even he said it himself this wont change him, nothing will change, they never learn or change anyways. and what could this change abt the character himself??? you need a therapy bro at most like talking with the dad wont lessen your trauma, even if he regrets it, it isnt gonna mean anything after all thoese years
I think so many manga or even a lot of asian narratives are like that because the culture is just like that. It's hard for us to cut off family no matter how much pain they caused us because there are also a lot of consequences that will come with that, and most of the times, it will be worse (socially, mentally) in the long run. But at the same time, I will really respect it if you don't blame this culture as well, because there are many perspective to look at when talking about this
I understand, coming from a similar culture but, like i said i dont expect them to cut off the family i ahree that it is challenging to that, i just expect them to keep to comm to minimum and not co fronting the father since it is only fonna hurt the person themself. im frustrated bc he thinks he needs confrontation when he actually needs theraphy, after all his father did to him, whatever the father will say wont help him anyways
I think its cause its deep within him and keeps boiling up and messing with his personality so no matter what his dad tells ig he just wants to get done with speaking his mind so he cant cut out the attachment towards him positive or negative like a conclusion of "I told him afterall...thats it"

I hated ml from the start what a little shit, im still on the early chapters but from the comments; even 10 years time skip? Nah man mc deserves better, ml is just likr all the other selfish ones
Everything is just a big "ehh the writer said so". I am torn between complaining and not cz we get a happy end
Miyoshi was and is still annoying, he should be thankful that they didnt cut him off and tried to talk it over with him...

This really was an interesting read, the drama, the action was pretty good. This was like a mixture of madoka magica and last of us in the smaller scale of infection. I was like thabk god the cure wasnt related to his brain!!
My only criticism is that the ending kinda flopped when there was a gap between the walls like wth?? Really?? It would have made more sense if they jumped over than that honestly. And how the heck ml was there in the lab and why?? His major shouldnt be realted to that lab? That felt like a plot hole to me tbh. Something to connect to loose ends but ended up flat.
I am glad that we got a happy end but we need epilogue!! Ml needs therapy to heal even tho he cant explain the time loops to a professional. I want to see them relaxed for once. it is also kinda weird that one of the two main themes of the story does not have a logical explanation just magic whereas the zombie theme had an explanation. Like go either full magic or full logic... But it wasnt bad.
But honeslt like the prev comments say, I cannot imagine how mc and ml can adapt to normalcy after this so it was better that the story ended here and we can imagine it if we want it so much. I feel like the writer wrote an epilogue, it would be just too painful to read cz of their traumas
