There’s a fine line between role play and rape... but at this stage it’s hard to see it as just simple “sex between two people who love each other” because it’s balancing on this fine line... the author is being ambiguous but it would not hurt to be on the safer side instead of supporting how taesang is acting right now. I’m not standing up for minhyuk simps either I’m support for minhyuk to be alone haha :3 and I know not all yaoi mangas are sweet and fluffy but we aren’t tryna say it has to be, it would be nice if it was but every story has to be different so it’s interesting. This story plot is interesting that’s why people are arguing about which POV they stand for, whether the characters’ actions are right/wrong/could be better or whatever. To simply dismiss it as we only want the fluff seems quite shallow... but I respect your view of you think this is just simply rough sex because everyone has their opinion. That's literally what those people who criticize their relationship wants here. Bottom line is the story's overall setting is not. It ain't vanilla. This is just simply rough sex, that's what rough sex is. Hence this is their thing, it ain't normal because it isn't your typical fluffy vanilla sex. One thing is for certain is that Taesung didn't rape Sooyung. Dubcon, sure perhaps, but rape? Nah too much. It's quite clear to see that Sooyung is more or less agreeing to this albeit tacitly. Simply dismissing it as us being Taesung simps or not being able to recognize rape or just being lenient with Taesung's behavior is just shallow.


(And btw, I should let you know that I like cherry blossoms after winter. I just used it as an example because that manhwa is basically the solar opposite of this manhwa)

And I don't think it's rape either. That's my biggest issue with poeple here. They are just haphazardly throwing the word "rape" around. Rape to me is such a serious word/thing that's why I don't immediately brand something as rape, which is what some people are doing here. It's not 100% consent but I'm pretty sure it's at least beyond 50%, thus leading to the more less rapey side. How Sooyung himself doesn't really hate it during and afterwards just increases this percentage.

So I don't think Donghyun has any idea about their relationship.. yes Taesung did fuck up that time but he regretted it...
