i'm a sucker for a good historical setting, but this just irks me. It isn't even bc there's a lot of smut, it just feels like there's no substance? Like I don't even know what the story is and ??? so far there's no reincarnation. Maybe because it's still too early (altho i feel 15+ chapters are enough to at least establish the mc or the frequent characters around him...) but the characters don't feel like people to me. Nox is, naive which is fine, but with him being so clueless abt dynamics makes me question why no one around him bothered to explain smth so important? Derrick is great. Liam is the playboy who saw smth interesting. And yuri, i actually don't know what his deal is.

Point is that aside from Derrick, I don't feel a connection from any of them and I'm someone who normally likes an mc 2 chapters in. Like the characters could fuck off and I wouldn't notice type of deal. It's unfortunate bc I found the art style and the setting to my taste maybe I'll check this out again once it has more chapters to see if the story went anywhere but rn I'm just bored

I like the art style. It's very haunting and fits especially well for this story. I don't really have that much notes about the story. It was definitely disgusting but I didn't really connect all that well to the metaphor it was trying to make but maybe that's because it's too short. I also was deeply uncomfortable with the SA, aside from that its ok.
